"The nature of a permission-less system is not what is being sold.

To be permission-less, development needs to occur in a manner that does not require being bound and answering to other parties. Developments within Wormhole are completely permissioned. Any proof of stake system is by nature permissioned."

"To put it simply, there are no forks in Bitcoin. The radical alteration of the base protocol by BTC in 2017 was not an alteration to Bitcoin. It was the creation of a completely new system that simply copied the existing coin holders and ledger and modified the underlying protocol.

Bitcoin is not a consensus system based on democratic voting."

¿Bitcoin (BTC) resulta sostenible a largo plazo? -

. . .#bitcoin #cryptocurrency #minning #money #crypto #blockchain #bitcoinmining #success #entrepreneur #bitcoins #Bitcoinsv #business #btc #forextrader #bitcointrading #investing #invest #bitcoinnews #bitcoinexchange #investor #millionaire #bitcoinmining #bitcoinprice #seoul #luxury #makemoney #usa #forexsignals #japan #bitcoinbillionaire
Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin SV (BSV) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will all be undergoing a block reward halvening within the next 6 months. "One example of a consultancy project that makes use of Bitcoin is the development of a system to allow the automatic payment of royalties to an artist by an end consumer – making use of Bitcoin’s ability to pay out to multiple parties from a single transaction: “the fan pays the artist directly”.

"..It’s quite clear that from an SPV client perspective, the bitcoin network could be scaled to multi-gigabyte blocks and SPV clients would have little trouble processing the small amounts of data required – even on a mobile phone with a 3G connection".
Could SPV Support a Billion Bitcoin Users? Sizing up a Scaling Claim.
Jameson Lopp
 Jul 30, 2017

Jameson Lopp is a software engineer at BitGo, creator of statoshi.info and founder of bitcoinsig.com.

In this opinion piece, Lopp takes a deep dive into claims that it’s safe to remove bitcoin’s block size limit and instead rely on existing “simplified payment verification” (SPV) methods".

How SPV works.
Satoshi described the high-level design for SPV in the bitcoin white paper, though it wasn’t implemented until two years later when Mike Hearn created BitcoinJ."
