Introducing the Social Bitcoin Web

The Social Bitcoin Web (SBW) is a set of protocol extensions to Paymail, Bitcoin, and the Web that connects real-world identity (private by default, of course) to electronic cash payments over the internet

We’re going to build the Social Bitcoin Web together publicly on social media. Big Tech companies like Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), Twitter, and so on, will be able to follow along and pivot their business models over time. But our network will have many opportunities to outcompete them if we can move faster than they do.
I always stated that bitcoin is an economic system, and the security behind bitcoin is gained through economic means and not cryptographic. The use of digital signature algorithms allows for a low-cost transfer of low-cost amounts where the risk is insignificant. Where large amounts are transferred, KYC still applies, and it is also possible to exchange identity information for less than the existing systems.

A lot of people within Core will be in a state of disillusionment. This is because they have been lied to and told that the nodes make any difference in any way or at least some way. As I stated, the only nodes that matter are economic, and they are the mining nodes. The reality is very simple. As with any digital file, copies can be made, which can be done at a low cost. Thus, a copy of the Blockchain can be created. So, the idea that people can run nodes at home and continue is true.

However, none of these systems has any economic value. Anyone can easily run up an existing copy of even the BTC Blockchain node. They can turn on mining and disconnect from the rest of the network, eventually will start creating blocks and earning rewards. The big question is, so what?

So, many people sit there saying how they will continue running their full node at home. Their full node that does not create blocks. Meanwhile, the economic actors such as coinbase and others will start following the law and become compliant. So, the simple answer to all of the questions about what will happen is that there will be no Fiat on-ramp.
