The development of bitcoin is not decentralised.
It never was, it never will be. It was never about bloody decentralisation. Bitcoin is about digital cash. Small, fast, cheap digital cash. It is not political. It is not about voting rights or any of that crap; it is not about democratising finance because the only democratisation of finances are fucking Ponzi’s. So if you don’t like it, get the fuck over it because I don’t care.

The only reason for any decentralisation in bitcoin comes from IP to IP communications, which is how it is peer-to-peer, and the fact that nobody is allowed to change the protocol not even me. That’s it. Set protocol equals fucking decentralised because nobody has any rights.

if the protocol is not that it's not fucking bitcoin

"Already in 1950, in his work “Computing Machinery and Intelligence”, Alan M. Turing pondered whether a machine could think, being convinced that there were no arguments to deny this possibility [3]. By 1937 he had proposed a mathematical formalization of discrete finite state machines, with the possibility of being reconfigured to represent computable numbers [4]. He referred to computable numbers as those numbers whose decimals should be able to be calculated by finite means, arguing that—just as it happens with humans—memory is necessarily finite. With “Enigma”, a universal machine he built during World War II, Turing proved his theory. This machine was capable of replicating finite state machines, reconfiguring itself every day to solve the bases on which the Germans encrypted their messages daily, thus achieving an “intelligent machine” that would change the course of history. With this result, his idea of increasing the intelligence of a machine continued for the rest of his life, convinced that the intelligent capacity of a machine would be related to its ability to acquire knowledge."
