La cuestión es que cuando Craig publica el WP bajo el seudónimo de SN, en 2008, había todo un grupo de cypherpunks esperando por algo así desde los años 90, pero ninguno de los proyectos anteriores, realmente resolvieron el problema del doble gasto, ni el de la descentralización de poder, así que cuando este grupo, junto con otros anarquistas y delincuentes, vieron la posibilidad de crear "crypto dinero" de la nada, para usarlo como solución "anti estado y anti impuestos", se volcaron cada vez mas en el invento Bitcoin, pero evidentemente Craig no había dado por finalizado el invento de forma teórica, por eso dijo la frase:

Following Episode 8 of this podcast with Nick Smart of Crystal Blockchain Analytics, Craig’s team at nChain reached out to give his side of the story, his views on Bitcoin, his case Tulip Trading and a great deal more.
With a sense of self-criticism from Craig we cover:
🔗 Craig’s understanding of the history of digital money from the 1980s, his own CV, and what he did in the run up to Bitcoin’s release, considering complacency by developers and Silicon Valley in the early years
🔗 His version of the development of Bitcoin, which he notes was predominantly a solo project driven by, amongst other things, his neurodivergence. Reference is made to Thomas Aurora, Adam Back, Hal Finney and Craig’s own uncle in reviewing the Bitcoin White Paper
🔗 What, in Craig’s view, early Bitcoin was, including as a method of making micropayments, with reference to his casino days, to logistics and utilisation of data sets.
🔗 His proposals to sell the idea to BDO and to Microsoft and why that didn’t take off
🔗 Why he says the name Satoshi Nakamoto was used, where it came from and why he decided to announce that he was the Bitcoin founder.
📌 In this clip, I ask Craig why, in his view, there was a need to create the character of Satoshi, and how that character differed from the person himself. His response includes self reflection and a recognition of being too rigid in the past.
