These programs connect to a P2P network, such as "Gnutella," which allows the computer to access thousands of other systems on the network."

"Public Service Announcement: There has been an attack on the Bitcoin network. This attack is extremely effective and has been in execution phase since 2011.

Known as the ‘Small Block Attack’ the strategy uses a centralised team to enforce decisions which stifle the ability of the network to function as an economic system. This is a sophisticated and detailed strategy that requires high level understanding of the network.

The attack uses social engineering to propagate the belief that scaling is not possible using technology and that ‘decentralisation’ is the most important aspect of Bitcoin. It was created by people who need Bitcoin to fail.

One of the major strategies is to employ personal attacks against proponents of the truth and to disseminate fake information as ‘proof’ of fraud. There is an effort ongoing to stop this through the courts.

This attack has so far been enormously successful. Bitcoin has twice been forced to separate from attackers who need to prevent global adoption and has had its development stifled for several years.

By limiting access to the network, the attack has also encouraged or forced the creation of thousands of projects that seek to bastardise the original innovation of bitcoin into meaningless repeats of the original network formation. These are collectively known as ‘Crypto’.

Thankfully the stewards of the Bitcoin protocol have kept the ideals and original protocol alive on the BitcoinSV network. Don’t be fooled by the ‘value’ being traded on exchanges or the storage of value narrative. BTC is on its last legs. More information to come.
