"Arthur Budovsky appealed his conviction for money laundering using the premise that cryptocurrencies were not money and hence the concept of money laundering would not apply. The problem, though, is that anti-money laundering rules cover funding. If you read the text of the law, you will find that it incorporates everything that you could possibly imagine, from bank accounts to cash to golden gems to watches. Funding means any means of funding a transaction. So the reality is that cryptocurrency does not give criminals a place to hide."

Court documents released by Craig Wright’s legal defense against Ira Kleiman on 06/11/2019 have confirmed in a legal setting that he mined the first 70 blocks of Bitcoin.
Dr. Craig Wright Confirms He Mined the First 70 Bitcoin Blocks
"Everything that was used to mine after the 70th block was placed into an encrypted file including all information pertaining to the addresses. The private key needed to access these files were split into multiple key shares using a version of “Shamir’s Secret Sharing Algorithm” which provides a method for splitting something like a private encryption key into multiple parts. The parts of the key were spread to multiple participants in the trust. This goes some way to explain why Dr. Wright has been unable to provide the public addresses for the bitcoin held by the trust (the addresses for the coins mined after block 70). "

Crypto Exchanges Are Facing Their Biggest Regulatory Hurdle Yet.
"On June 21, 2019
the Financial Action Task Force -- a multi-government effort that develops recommendations for combating money laundering and financing of terrorism that’s followed by about 200 countries including the U.S. -- will publish a note to clarify how participating nations should oversee virtual assets, FATF spokeswoman Alexandra Wijmenga-Daniel said in an email. The new rules will apply to businesses working with tokens and cryptocurrencies, such as exchanges and custodians and crypto hedge funds."

Think #LightningNetwork is some great new idea? Actually, it's not, @bytemaster7 even suggested it in 2010. Bitcoin as per the whitepaper (@BitcoinSV) does exactly everything Lightning is claiming without the downsides. #BTC was crippled artificially by Core.

Introducing Paymail: An Extensible Identity Protocol for Bitcoin (BSV) – Money Button
"Non-Custodial
Non-custodial wallets are where the provider does not see the user’s private keys. Paymail is compatible with non-custodial wallets.
Using hierarchical deterministic wallets, paymail providers can generate new addresses for users without ever seeing private keys. The paymail provider is trusted to accurately deliver the addresses, but is not trusted to hold the user’s money. Paymail does not specify by what mechanism the provider should generate addresses; any standard address generation mechanism is allowed.
Custodial wallets, which hold the user’s private keys, are also supported.
Public Keys
Paymail is not just for sending money. Included in the launch of Paymail is an extension for sharing public keys for use in digital signatures and encryption.
Digital signatures can be used for, amongst other things, signing data or messages stored on the blockchain. For instance, content creators can sign the data they publish to the blockchain, enabling their audience to follow the work they produce and purchase or license the material. The creator fully owns the content they create, and users fully own their following list, making it possible to build a truly global, distributed, permissionless market for information.
Encryption (using ECIES) can be used to encrypt data that can only be read by the recipient. Encryption can be used for additional, advanced uses such as Diffie-Hellman based private transactions, or simply encrypting private messages.
Paymail’s support for public keys is fully compatible with non-custodial wallets. The paymail provider is trusted to accurately deliver the public key, but does not have to be trusted with the private key. Any data that is encrypted cannot be read by the provider. Digital signatures cannot be altered by the provider."
