Ramón es socio fundador de la primera asociación de criptomonedas de España, AVALBIT, con una larga trayectoria en la difusión de Bitcoin. De un tiempo a esta parte se ha centrado en estudiar y seguir de cerca a la comunidad de Bitcoin SV, cuyas diferencias clave hacen que el proyecto sobre el protocolo Bitcoin vuelva a ser tan ambicioso como lo fue en sus inicios.

"The second question is easier to answer; I wrote the White Paper. There
were some bits and pieces included which I had help with, and I had help
with editing. But the White Paper is essentially my work. The matter of
Satoshi being an individual or a group is a little more complex. Satoshi
was a public persona I adopted, a part that I played. Yet even though I
would say Satoshi was ninety percent me, other people helped, other
people shaped the creation."

1 Mayo 2019, Acabo de traducir otro artículo de los que considero, "reliquias" de la comunidad, esta vez de Ray Dillinger, un total desconocido para mí, hasta hoy, pero de una importantísima labor en los primeros momentos de la creación del software de Bitcoin, trabajando de la mano con Satoshi Nakamoto a finales del 2008 y tambien con Hal Finney.

Me complace ver que no solo tenía los conocimientos, como para contribuir en el proyecto, sino los valores que siempre les he reconocido a los pioneros de la comunidad.

"En noviembre de 2008, realicé una revisión de código y una auditoría de seguridad para la parte de la cadena de bloques del código fuente de Bitcoin. El fallecido Hal Finney realizó la revisión del código y la auditoría del lenguaje de scripting, y ambos examinamos el código contable. Satoshi Nakamoto, el arquitecto seudónimo y autor del código, alternó entre responder preguntas y formularlas."

Si hubiera sabido lo que estábamos empezando.

"I was helped with some ideas from my grandfather. I was helped by Ellen Granger. I worked for an accounting firm, BDO, for a time, and that was one of the pieces of the puzzle of putting the idea together and getting it working finally. It proved the concept of the triple entry ledger. etc. I tried to do that with multiple distributed ways before but a network of competing entities attempting to find a ledger really came from an idea at accounting, because I was writing CAT software and doing forensic audits."
