๐บ๐ธโ๐บ๐ธ๐ธReflections on Hubris and the Looming Extinction of the Fiat Dollar as Reserve.
As we reflect on Trumpโs bluster about imposing 100% tariffs on BRICS nations for daring to chart a course away from the dollar, perhaps he should direct his attention to a more pressing concern: the numbers staring us all in the face. More than $36 trillion national debt and over $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities. A debt-to-GDP ratio exceeding 123%, built on a fiat Ponzi scheme so reckless it makes Monopoly money look like a sound investment.
The U.S. dollar wasnโt dethroned by BRICS. It was undermined from within, betrayed by unchecked money printing, inflation, and weaponized sanctions wielded like a cudgel against half the globe. A dollar depended upon credibility as a means of exchange suicided itself. This isnโt the cunning of a financial hegemon; itโs the flailing of a system that abused its own credibility until none was left. A โmightyโ dollar? No, a cursed relic, unraveling under the weight of its creators' hubris.
And while Trump clings to his empty threats, the BRICS markets are rapidly growing, expanding into the future with dynamism and opportunity. In stark contrast, the U.S. market... when adjusted for real inflation is shrinking, bleeding vitality with every misstep and every policy blunder. This isnโt checkers, Donnie, and itโs certainly not Texas hold โem, where you can bluff your way out of a terrible hand. Youโve got to think a few moves aheadand right now, itโs painfully clear that Washington has no endgame, only doubling down on monetary suicide.
100% tariffs on BRICS? Not a problem. In fact, the emerging economic powerhouses of BRICS+ would welcome them with reciprocal sanctions on the dwindling U.S. manufacturing sector, if it can even produce competitive goods anymore. While BRICS nations build the markets of tomorrow, America clings to its fading economic dominance like a ghost haunting the ruins of its own making.
Letโs be clear: the U.S. has chosen to play monetary-economic Darwinism, and the result will be an expedited extinction of its fiat currency. This is no external conspiracy; it is a reality authored by decades of retrograde hubris, policy blunders, and a failure to adapt to a world that no longer tolerates the weaponization of money. The dollarโs demise isnโt just probable, itโs inevitable.
Trumpโs threats are hollow, as flimsy as the โmighty dollarโ he claims to defend. And the rest of the world? Theyโve already moved on. Economic Darwinism, indeed.

The Democratic Party and five other parties have submitted a motion to parliament to approve impeachment proceedings with a vote expected by Saturday over Yoonโs โinsurrectionary behaviour.โ
The party said in a statement that Yoonโs gamble had been a โviolation of the constitutionโ which โamounts to a clear act of treason, and is a perfect reason to impeach him.โ

Carlsonโs interview with the Russian Foreign Minister comes as he warns that Biden is driving the US โever closerโ to all-out nuclear war with Moscow.
Appearing in front of the Kremlin in a video posted on X on Wednesday morning, the former Fox News host said that the Bidenโs adminโs policy towards Russia had reached its โapogeeโ in the weeks since Donald Trumpโs election win.
He said the US military personnel had fired missiles into mainland Russia - a reference to the fact that Western troops were required to help Kiev launch US-supplied ATACMS missiles across the border last month.
Carlson also said he had attempted to interview Zelensky, but that his efforts were โthwartedโ by the US govt - who told the Ukrainian president he could not do it.

Since Trump nominated Hegseth to lead the US Dept of Defense, a sexual assault allegation has surfaced, as well as questions about his qualifications.
DeSantis ran against Trump in the Republican primary and before dropping out, he was considered by some to be Trump 2.0 - a Republican who could deliver Trump's populist agenda.
DeSantis, who was elected as Florida governor in 2018, did not reply to a request for comment and a spox for Trump declined to say whether DeSantis was under consideration for the post, CBS reported.

The opinion poll of 1,200 Ukrainians, the most comprehensive study of electoral preferences since the war began in 2022, also found that about 60% would prefer Zelensky not to even stand for re-election.
Although Zelensky said before his victory in 2019 that he would not run for a second term, he has since stated that he would take part in elections, if they are held in wartime.
