A personnel revolution before the imminent storm
First of all, - official information: "Already there are personnel decisions - some of them today, some tomorrow - concerning different level managers in ministries and other central government bodies, in regions, and in the law enforcement system." -Zelensky
I mean at least (and this is confirmed by the Ukrainian media) the deputy head of the President's Office (analog of our AP), Kirill Timoshenko, the heads of Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and the Ukrainian-controlled parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya
As a result, some of those, who were considered to be "British creatures" (and even had a corresponding secret passport), are under criminal investigation; the process is being initiated by the US directly and by their "parallel power structures" like NABU
It is a fact that there are serious contradictions between SBU and SDU, so serious that the heads of these bodies had to deny them publicly (!) the other day. It is related to the fact that the SBU is closely supervised by the US, while the SDU is more independent (despite the fact that the Pentagon shares information with the SDU).
👉 One could argue that the deeper reason is the contradictions between the CIA and the Pentagon, which are also reflected in Ukrainian politics, but that would be a conspiracy theory.
👉 And as for the dismissals, - Tymoshenko is a bargaining chip instead of Ermak, whom the curators have been after for a long time, but the heads of regions are a sure sign that Ukraine is not just expecting but is sure of Russia's offensive. The replacements are not only for the more trustworthy, but also for the more firm and resolute. In essence, this is the formation of military administrations.

The US military is probing nine blood cancer cases among officers who worked decades ago at Malmstrom Air Force Base, a major nuclear missile site in the state of Montana. The investigation was first reported by AP on Monday and confirmed by Pentagon officials.
All of the afflicted officers had been serving at the silos of the base, home to some 150 Minuteman III nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles, as many as 25 years ago. The diagnosis in each case was non-Hodgkin lymphoma, while one of the officers has succumbed to the illness.
“There are indications of a possible association between [this] cancer and missile combat crew service at Malmstrom AFB,” Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Sebeck said in the slides presented at a military briefing earlier in January and cited by the news agency.
“Missileers have always been concerned about known hazards, such as exposure to chemicals, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, lead and other hazardous material in the work environment,” he stated.
The “disproportionate number of missileers presenting with cancer, specifically lymphoma” was particularly concerning, Sebeck added. The issue is important to the Space Force because as many as 455 former missileers are now serving with the Space Force, including four individuals diagnosed with lymphoma.

Moscow will “inevitably” respond to Paris’ decision to freeze the accounts of RT’s French-language channel, RT France, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday. The hostile move was taken by Paris last week, coming within the framework of the latest EU-wide anti-Russian sanctions package.
“We are once again seeing the blatant behavior of the Western elites, who are trying by any means to cut the people of their countries from alternative points of view, to force them into consuming only information broadcast by Washington and Brussels as the ultimate truth,” FM spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement.
She said the behavior of Paris – and the West as a whole – stems from a “fear of the truth,” resulting in an “obsessive desire to ban, cancel, and delete everything Russian,” including the country’s media.
Moscow is set to make a “decisive” response to the freezing of RT France’s bank account, she added, without providing any further details on the proposed retaliatory measures.

One of the main purposes of this initiative is not to be dependent on the dollar.
President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva suggests thinking over the possibility of creating a common currency for both BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and MERCOSUR [the Southern Common Market, with Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay as full members - TASS] for use in mutual settlements.
"If it were up to me, we would always trade with other countries in national currencies, so as not to be dependent on the dollar. Why not make an attempt to create a common currency for MERCOSUR countries or for BRICS countries?" the President said at a joint press conference with President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez.
"I believe that over time, we will come to that. I believe this is necessary because many countries face challenges buying dollars," Lula da Silva said. National banks might enter into appropriate agreements on creation of such currencies for their use in intra-bloc trade, the President noted.
Lula da Silva confessed he was not surprised by heated emotions and mistrust related to this topic.
"Anything new causes mistrust. Still, all new things should be tried because we cannot confine ourselves to 20th century capabilities in the 21st century," the Brazilian leader said. This will enable making "a quantum leap" in mutual trade, he added.

Tymoshenko confirms resignation from Ukrainian president's office
The deputy head of the Ukrainian OP, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, has confirmed that he has written a letter of resignation from his post. He thanked his team. Where he will move to work after the resignation is not known yet.
The day before, Ukrainian media reported that Tymoshenko was resigning from his post. According to them, this is not the last reshuffle in the top echelon of the Kiev regime, and the backstabbing will continue.
