On the fifth day, the International Monetary Fund posted a sort of research report on the future fragmentation of the existing world. something to do this weekend. If the talk is about the possible division of the world into techno-economic blocs and all that, it will be interesting.

Come right in with the Trumps. Analysts gave a picture like this once before. Here they draw the export-import share of global GDP. In blue, they highlight the growth areas of the share, and in red, respectively, vice versa. What is the point? Well, of course, trade is growing—everyone is getting rich, happy, and building all sorts of things—during periods of "globalization." Well, the decline in trade suggests general sadness and potential conflict. Attention has been turned to the zone since 2010. The world economy took a wrong turn after the global financial crisis. And the impending crisis was foreseen...
