Russian strategic aviation and missile ships are reportedly on standby for a large-scale attack in the coming days.
Six Tu-95MS and two Tu-160M bombers are allegedly ready to launch 35-40 Kh-101 cruise missiles. Three Russian vessels are prepared to fire up to 20 Kalibr missiles.
Ukrainian monitoring channels estimate a total salvo of 55-60 cruise missiles, excluding potential ballistic and hypersonic strikes. Energy and critical infrastructure are named as likely targets.

Russia will not make concessions in Ukraine talks until at least spring 2027, claims Verkhovna Rada MP Sergey Kozyr. He assesses that Moscow intends to use the winter period to intensify military pressure on Ukraine.

Mayor V. Klitschko stated that after Russian strikes, no working power stations or independent generation sources remain in the Ukrainian capital.
Attacks on Kiev's central heating system have increased from 19 last year to over 50 this year. Despite preparing nearly 700 generators, 70 mobile boiler houses, and 3 diesel power plants, uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed during Russian attacks.
Kiev also remains fully dependent on external gas supplies due to the lack of local deposits.
