🩸 Russian forces have again carried out massive attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure today.

▪️ Energy facilities in #Odessa, #Vinnitsa, #Dnepropetrovsk and the #Kiev region were hit.

In addition, the Shebelinsky State Bearing Plant near #Balakleya in #Kharkov region, a mining facility in #Kiev region, a Yuzhmash workshop in #Dnepropetrovsk, a logistics hub in #Ochakov, and a military unit at #Zastava in #Odessa were also hit.

▪️ An unidentified object was hit in the #Stryisky district of #Lvov region.

▪️ Air defence systems were triggered in #Poltava and #Cherkasy regions.

#Crimea:

▪️ In #Feodosia, an Ukrainian drone attempted to attack the #Kafa power substation, but the facility suffered no damage.

▪️ In #Dzhankoy, air defence assets went off in the evening, there is no information about the arrivals.

#Belgorod Region:

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled the town of #Shebekino, wounding a fifteen-year-old girl.

▪️ The enemy also hit a power substation in the #Belgorod region, damaging two transformers. There were no casualties and power supply was restored.

#Starobelsk Direction:

There were no significant changes on the frontline.

▪️ The AFU tried to attack east of #Makeyevka towards #Ploshchanka, but came under artillery fire and withrew.

▪️ Similar attempts are repeated in some parts of the front.

#Soledar Direction (MAP):

▪️ Wagner PMC troops are actively conducting an offensive on the southeastern outskirts of #Opytnoye and near #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk).

The liberation of the settlement allows the offensive against #Avdeevka to continue from the southwest.

▪️ The Ukrainian command is moving reinforcements and strengthening its defences to prevent the encirclement of the #Avdeevka stronghold.

#Bakhmut Area:

▪️ Wagner PMC assault units blocked a the units of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade, some of the Ukrainian militants refused to carry out combat tasks.

▪️ Due to the grave situation on the line, the Ukrainian command moved 185 mobilised personnel to replenish the 53rd Brigade, including a platoon of "refuseniks" from #Zhytomyr. A train with military equipment of the 24th Mechanized Brigade arrived in #Pokrovsk coming from the direction of #Kherson.

▪️ After their regrouping, the assault troops of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade attempted to occupy previously lost positions, but Russian fighters, supported by artillery, repulsed the attacks.

#Soledar Sector:

▪️ During intense fighting near the #Bakhmut - #Soledar highway, Russian units managed to squeeze out the Ukrainian formations. But then the 53rd Brigade managed to push back the Russian troops by counterattacking.

▪️ In the past two days, the #Bakhmut garrison has 18 fallen, 10 of whom were killed by friendly artillery fire.

▪️ Another 99 AFU militants were wounded, 14 of whom had to be evacuated from the combat area due to frostbite as they were not wearing winter uniforms.

▪️ According to enemy intercepts, hospitals and clinics are overcrowded and morgues have no space to store the bodies of the dead.

▪️ In the #Kherson direction Russian artillery struck a massive blow on the regional centre. A significant Ukrainian army garrison remains in the city. Also under fire were AFU positions in #Komyshany, #Zelenovka and #Antonovka. (Fig. 1)

▪️ In the #Zaporozhye direction, the Russian Armed Forces fired at concentrations of Ukrainian troops in #Komyshevakha, #Orekhov, #Zheleznodorozhny and #Gulyaypole. (Fig. 2)

▪️ It's hot on the #Donetsk front. Russian troops attacked from the #Novomikhailovka side. Fierce ground fighting in #Maryinka itself. This is a strategic stronghold for the AFU. Moreover, it is on dominant heights. Slightly to the north, Russian troops were attacking another stronghold in #Krasnogorovka. They are also attempting to encircle a third one in #Avdeyevka from the south. Ground attacks in the area of #Pervomayskoye and from the previously captured #Opytnoye. An attack from the north as well. Russian troops carried out an assault action near #Kamenka. (Fig. 3)

The Wagner PMC is trying to push through the AFU defences on the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut. They are also engaged in heavy fighting south-east of #Soledar near #Bakhmut. Moreover, they are of a counter-attack nature. The Ukrainian army is also trying to counterattack. To the east of the city, Russian troops are storming #Yakovlevka and Donetsk's #Belogorovka. ▪️In the #Lugansk direction, the Ukrainian army is already trying to break through to the R-66 highway near #Chervonopopovka and cut its section north of #Kremennaya. In turn, Russian troops attacked in the direction of #Stelmakhovka. (Fig. 5)

Russian barrel and rocket artillery continues to be active in the Kherson direction. Arrivals in the regional centre. Strikes on AFU positions in #Belozerka, #Antonovka, #Nikolskoye, #Tokarevka, #Berislav and #Staroshvedskoye. That is, practically along the entire line of contact. For their part, the AFU shelled Novaya Kakhovka. They also launched missile attacks on #Chaplinka and #Skadovsk. The latter two named localities are now deep in the rear. (Figure 1)

On the #Donetsk front, everything is traditional. Russian troops do not abandon attempts to break through to #Konstantinovka, attacking near #Novomikhailovka. Street fighting continues in #Maryinka. The AFU is not going to give up its stronghold on the dominant heights above #Donetsk. Russian troops resumed assault actions near #Pervomayskoye. Their artillery was working tightly on the #Avdeyevka stronghold. (Fig. 2)

On the southern outskirts of #Bakhmut, the Wagner PMCs attacked from the direction of #Opytnoye. Not to be confused with the locality of the same name near #Donetsk! There is also fierce fighting on the southeastern outskirts of the city. Near #Soledar, the Wagner PMC again storms #Bakhmutskoye and #Yakovlevka. (Fig. 3)

On the #Lugansk direction, Russian troops attempted a counterattack near #Dibrov and near #Stelmakhovka. Their artillery hit AFU positions in #Zarechnoye and #Makeyevka. (Fig. 4)

About half of the military on the Ukrainian side in the Soledar direction in the Donetsk People's Republic are foreign mercenaries and servicemen from NATO countries, according to MP Viktor Vodolatsky. 

"There are about five brigades and various special units in the soledar direction. "The total number is voiced: 20–25 thousand people," he said. - It is also a fact that about half of them were mercenaries and NATO soldiers. 

At the same time, Vodolatskyy clarified that the exact number of losses suffered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not yet available because the city has not yet been fully cleared.

⚠️ Russian Armed Forces are currently improving positions along the Soledar. The necessity of this is to improve the position to likely conduct further offensives on #Bondarne and #Nyforivka but also to put pressure on the #Seversk bridgehead.

🔻 Around Zaliznyanske, Russian Forces took up positions opposite the river after these position being in the gray zone since the capture of the initial village. Towards Vasyuivka, Russian Forces took the last positions to the west of the Vasyuivka - Zaliznyanske road, of which, they will likely take in the near future.

✅ Russian Forces are conducting new offensives on neighboring villages of Rozdolivka and Vasyuivka likely to support the ongoing attacks near #Spornoye and #Berestove.

📌#Soledar

⚠️ After 3 weeks of consistent fighting, Russian Paratroopers took 2 landings adjacent to the village of Veseloye.

🔻 Russian Forces are closing in on the village from two directions, and if pace continues, the AFU will likely be forced to abandon the village and retreat.

🔻However, the remaining route into the village is nearly captured by Russian Forces.
