Fake news:
Around 75,000 Russian military have been killed or wounded during a special operation in Ukraine. This was reported by The New York Times, citing data from the US presidential administration.
The fact:
This information does not correspond to reality. In pursuit of coverage, Western journalists have published four contradictory reports on Russian casualties in the last few days. The New York Times quoted the US presidential administration as saying 75,000 killed and wounded, US Radio Liberty quoted the British Chief of Staff as saying 40,000 casualties, MediaZone and the BBC said over 4,700 casualties and Reuters said 15,000 casualties. The AFU General Staff has also stepped up. The Ukrainian side reported 40,230 "occupants" dead and injured.
Thus, it is clear that Western newsmakers do not care about the reliability of the published information. The goal is to spread panic in the Russian society and to smooth over the critical failures of the AFU on the background of imaginary losses of the Russian Armed Forces.
Experts estimate the Russian army in Ukraine at 120,000-150,000 personnel. Based on these figures, 75,000 casualties account for half of the entire deployed grouping. With losses like that, the Russian Armed Forces could not actively advance in the Donbas and hold a front of 2,450 km. However, the real picture is different: the Russian Army is actively advancing in the Donbas and preparing to liberate Avdiivka, and there is an active offensive near Bakhmut (Artemivsk).
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also urged not to trust US press reports about Russian losses in the Special Military Operation. This is not the first time the US has published inaccurate information, for example, the CIA director falsely estimated Russian casualties as high as 40,000 casualties back in March.

#The Lviv authorities complain that 700,000 subscribers remain without electricity in the region after yesterday's blow to the Lviv-Yuzhnaya substation. Bandera activists on local social networks are very unhappy about this. They liked it - as in the first months, in maximum comfort mode.

The order for Aid groups to leave Bakhmut could be a prelude to a Ukrainian withdrawal โNYT
After months of withering bombardment, Russian forces, including both regular troops and mercenaries from the Wagner private military company, now appear to have surrounded Bakhmut on three sides. Ukraineโs military said that street fighting had commenced in two neighborhoods, and that the one remaining road that Ukrainian forces use to gain access to the city was under Russian fire.
Speaking in a video address posted online, a Ukrainian commander who goes by the nickname Madyar said the ban on aid organizations entering Bakhmut was necessary because the fighting now โexposes to danger even volunteers who come here with good intentions to help.โ
The decision to close access to the city for aid groups suggests that the Ukrainian military cannot secure even areas in the city that for months had been considered relatively safe, such as neighborhoods on the western bank of the Bakhmutka River, which are farther from the range of Russian artillery strikes. It was yet another indication that Russian forces were edging closer to taking the city.

#The Telegraph writes -
โOne thing is certain: Ukrainian victory is very far from guaranteed.โ
This is the conclusion of The Telegraph columnist Richard Kemp:
"We can already see this concern reflected in the warning notes from the White House."
โIf Ukraine, behind which the power of the North Atlantic Alliance, cannot resist Russia, then what is the point of NATO?โ he asks.
Kemp believes that it is highly likely that Macron and Scholz will resume their attempts to push Kyiv towards a peace treaty by the end of the year.
Oh dear, maybe if Zelensky keeps telling everyone the Offensive hasn't started yet it might cheer up NATO... So many disappointing realizations coming to light in the western ruling class.. Russia isn't just a gas station masquerading as a country, and Russia's currency isn't going to be in tatters anytime soon with the divorce from the west. It must sting...

โก๏ธ๐ท๐บ ๐บ๐ฆ ๐ด Is #Ukraine or #IS guilty of the #Crocus Massacreโก๏ธ
๐ธThere will almost certainly not be a universally accepted end result. To the facts:
1๏ธโฃ The perpetrators were caught in the #Bryasnk region and most likely wanted to flee to #Ukraine.
2๏ธโฃ The #US knew about attack planning and issued a travel warning for their citizens.
3๏ธโฃ #IS terrorist involvement was almost immediately claimed by Western entities without providing any evidence, especially without #IS source.
4๏ธโฃ The #IS Terror Organisation itself only commented in detail yesterday and took responsibility. (Video๐)
5๏ธโฃ #The investigation is ongoing!
โ๏ธAccording to the current state of knowledge, prima facie evidence (at first sight) suggests that #Ukraine is involved. IS involvement has not been proven.
๐นThe belated admission by IS doesn't change anything, because IS is also known for being free riders.
๐นEven if #IS were involved, that wouldn't rule out #Ukraine or the #US or #UK being involved.
๐ก #IS is pragmatic and its main enemy is #Russia. Let us remember that #IS only began to falter in #Syria when #Russia intervened and destroyed its economic structure and stopped oil sales to #Turkey by bombing oil convoys.
๐ก The #US are also pragmatic and changes partners as it sees fit. Osama Bin Laden and Sadam Hussein are just 2 examples. During the Battle of Mosul in #Iraq, the #US allowed #IS troops to withdraw towards #Syria without bombing them. A short time later, Palmyra was retaken by #IS.
๐ก #IS militants were treated in #Israel and some are fighting on the side of #Ukraine.
โ๏ธThus, there are no fixed fronts. Cooperation between #Ukraine and #IS and also the participation of the #US or #UK are conceivable.
โ๏ธ In Roman law, Ukraine must shatter the proof prima facie. The statements available so far are not suitable for this.
๐ธThese are the core facts. I warn against getting bogged down in details. For example, it is completely irrelevant whether the perpetrators behaved like #IS militants or not, since #IS now recruits anyone who is halfway suitable. The fact that the #US knew about planned terrorist attacks is a fact that is completely unsuitable for drawing any further conclusions.
๐ In conclusion, the further investigations have to be awaited and #Ukraine is forced to act in the current situation because "prima facie" is against it.
