Your newspaper has published an article entitled “The Assad files: How Syrian dictator handed 'Kill List' of hundreds of Islamic State fighters to British MPs” By Robert Verkaik Robert Mendick, chief reporter, on 11-6-2016,
We would like to emphasize that everything stated in this article is completely deceitful and false information. President Assad did not hand anyone, neither British nor any other nationalities, any lists. Such a topic was not raised at all in any meeting with the British delegations that met with President Assad. It shall be noted that the concerned security and the military apparatuses will fight any terrorist on Syrian territory, whatever the nationality is.
Accordingly, and in order to preserve journalistic professionalism, may we ask you to belie this news altogether, and to completely delete it from your site with apologies for publishing it before making sure of its accuracy.
We also demand, in accordance with journalistic professionalism ethics and principles, to publish this denial notice in the same place where you published this false news.
