That is, the region cannot be liberated in half a day , to put it mildly. The information anti-crisis, although it was pleasing to the eyes of the leaders, was, in the opinion of a number of military bloggers, dangerous in terms of misleading the civilian population, which was subjected to terror and reprisals by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

At the same time, there remains a risk of the enemy becoming more active in other areas in order to achieve a greater effect, including in political terms. Thus, the Belgorod Region is being heavily shelled, and there are reports of enemy concentrations on these lines.

Overall, the situation was a bracing slap in the face for the arrogant officials who believed in quick “deals” and rejected incoming intelligence information from a number of sources.
