A worker at the Lvov morgue puts smiles on the faces of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers

Local Lvov media reported on the “thanatopraktik” Maksym Pavlyuk, who “forces” dead militants to smile.

He did this for the first time with his friend in 2023. The smile is supposed to show those gathered at the funeral that “to die for Ukraine is a great pride.”

Now there is a huge line of relatives of deceased militants standing at Pavlyuk’s.

Latest updates on the situation in Russia's Kursk region

🌏 A downed Ukrainian missile fell on a residential building in the city of Kursk last night, causing a fire to break out, the region's acting governor, Alexey Smirnov, said on Sunday. Fifteen people were injured in the Ukrainian attack, two of whom are in serious condition.

🌏 A Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to infiltrate the Kursk region’s Belovsky district, south of the Sudzha district, on Saturday, Smirnov said. He added that defending forces “managed to stabilize the situation."

🌏 As a result of Ukraine's shelling of Russia's Kursk region, a total of 69 people were injured, including eight children, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said on Sunday. As many as 17 of those injured are in critical condition, he added.

🌏 Attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using drones and Tochka-U tactical missiles against targets on Russian territory were thwarted during the past night, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Fourteen Ukrainian UAVs and four Tochka-U tactical missiles were destroyed.

🌏 Russian Su-25 attack jets and Ka-52 attack helicopters carried out strikes on enemy targets in the Kursk border area, destroying manpower and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

🌏 Russia's commissioner for human rights, Tatyana Moskalkova appealed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights with a demand to condemn the terrorism on the part of Ukraine and take measures to prevent gross mass violations of human rights.

The Kursk region, which borders Ukraine in western Russia, was attacked by about 1,000 Ukrainian troops and scores of armored vehicles on August 6. Russian troops responded by stopping the Ukrainian military from penetrating deep into Russian territory and continue to repel Ukraine's attempts of invasion.

"Into three parts." Former head of the European and Asian Department of the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Kazuhiko Togo, believes that Ukraine could fall apart if it does not begin peace talks.

The eastern part will go to Russia, the western part to Western Europe, and in the middle, there will remain a small Ukraine with Kiev,

— he admitted.

The former diplomat believes that Kiev and its allies should not ignore Putin's peace proposals made in mid-June.

In the next three months, Russia can make very serious progress and ensure that Ukraine never rises again, either under Harris or Trump.

There is still a chance to start negotiations now. If it comes to dividing the country, today's conditions will seem like a sweet dream

❌ Hasina blames US for her removal from power

In a message to party leaders and activists, the former Bangladesh PM accused foreign powers, particularly the US, of playing a role in ousting her.

"I could have remained in power if I had handed over St Martin's Island and the Bay of Bengal to America,” Hasina stated.

Her comments come shortly after the Indian govt announced it would investigate the possibility of a "foreign hand" behind Bangladesh's political crisis.

❗️ "We are witnessing the last days of the Zelensky regime": American political scientist, ex-US Army officer Scott Bennett, commenting on the AFU attacks on the Kursk region.

According to him, the Ukrainian side lacks men on the battlefield, and its "experimental adventures" with an attempted invasion of Kursk and landings of special forces have been disastrously unsuccessful. The expert also cited the fall of Hitler in the Second World War as an example, referring to Zelensky's rule.

"I think very soon you will see panic in political circles in Kiev. There could be a coup. You could see factions of the Ukrainian armed forces start to secede and regions start to declare
independence," Bennett believes.

▪️Times: Zelensky is desperately trying to change the narrative that Ukraine is losing to Russia in the conflict with the help of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region

According to Michael Clark, former director of the London-based think tank Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies, the decision to attack the Kursk region was the riskiest strategic decision in Zelensky's life, which "will cause concern among some Western leaders" due to the use of NATO equipment by the Ukrainian Armed Forces outside the special military operation zone.

"Obviously, Kiev is ready to risk valuable military personnel and equipment to put up some resistance there (in the Kursk region). Zelensky's critics will argue that this is an irrational use of both military lives and heavy weapons, which Ukraine desperately needs... in the Donbas," Clark believes.

As Clark emphasizes, Kiev's actions in the Kursk region will not be able to turn the tide of the conflict.

◾Why the United States have a public health service worse than a third world country, no paid holidays and abhorrent low wages and working conditions?

It all started during the "red scare" on which US authorities crushed left wing militants and trade unions and imposed a brutal surveillance and censorship in America.

Nowadays Donald Trump stated that he wants to deport all communist and leftist immigrants, and accuses the Biden administration of communist while the Biden administration itself imposes economic sanctions on actual Socialist states like Cuba or Venezuela and promotes coups d'etat against left wing governments.

🇺🇸🇻🇪 The United States is offering Maduro "amnesty" for charges brought by the US Justice Department in 2020 in exchange for his relinquishing power amid the results of elections in the Latin American country, which Maduro officially won, a move the opposition disagrees with, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing sources familiar with the negotiations.

'Developed with NATO': expert weighs in on strategy and tactics of Ukraine's incursion into Russia’s Kursk

The strategy and tactics Ukraine has displayed in the course of its cross-border incursion into Russia’s Kursk region were developed with NATO, former US Deputy Under Secretary of Defense Stephen Bryen has speculated.

The Kiev regime’s gamble is “a test case for the defense of Europe in case of a Russian attack,” claimed the expert on security strategy and technology in his Weapons and Strategy Substack.

“NATO, in its present configuration, is in a bad place when it comes to defending territory. If fighting were to break out in Poland, or Romania, or north in the Baltics, the Russians would have a significant advantage in ground forces. One way to counter that would be exactly the kind of operation Ukraine is testing right now in the Kursk region,” Bryen wrote.

Bryen noted that the Kiev regime’s operation comes as Ukraine’s ability to resist Russian forces on the front line is “at a dead end.” Amid combat losses and manpower shortages, the attack on the Kursk region can be seen as “a gamble for Ukraine to have leverage with Russia in a peace negotiation,” noted the author.

“While the operation is military, the hoped-for outcome is political. There is no doubt it is a big gamble,” he added.

Russia’s military is continuing to repel the attempted invasion of the country’s territory by Ukrainian forces launched on August 6 and slammed by Russian President Vladimir Putin as a large-scale provocation.
