THE PRIMITIVE TOOLS OF MODERN WARFARE: SANCTIONS, ASSASSINATION, AND TORTURE
โ๏ธ Written by Hikaru Kitabayashi โ๏ธ
Sanctions, assassination, and torture have recently often been in the news. Real war with missiles, tanks, and waves of men marching is an extremely expensive proposition, thus the attractiveness of other techniques. They are primitive, though, and have long histories of failure.
Economic sanctions, for instance, were once employed by Napoleon against Great Britain. He assumed that, by stopping British trade with the European continent that he would be able to break the British economy. But, sanctions impacted the European continent more than it did Great Britain and the British came out of the Napoleonic wars with a stronger economy than they went in with.
Assassination is, perhaps, the oldest form of indirect warfare, and is strongly favored by Israel. When the enemy consists of individual human beings in control of new political structures that have no ideological basis as a foundation, taking out a key person has been known to work wonders. However, in the real world, political networks always have ideological structures and, while people can be assassinated, ideas cannot. In ideologically based political systems, new leaders must prove themselves by exacting vengeance, thus often making the result worse than what it would have been had the assassinated individuals been allowed to live.
A prime example of this can be seen in Gaza, where a mass assassination policy of all Hamas affiliated individuals has resulted in more solidarity of the people with the Hamas government and not less. The result is a war, which classical theories of war would suggest should have been won by the Zionist political entity at least eight months ago, that's still being waged.
Torture is coequal with the existence of the human race. It has been used by every political structure, whether religious or non-religious, for which connected histories exist. Criticism of the utility of torture has also long existed. This is because, if the purpose of torture is to ascertain truth, then it can almost always be expected to fail. Tortured individuals will often say anything, no matter how outrageous the lie, in order to end the torture. Even if the forced admission of knowledge were to result in death, this would often be seen as a happier than allowing the torture, itself, to continue. After all, it is impossible to torture a dead person.
For these reasons, Catherine the Great banned torture in the 18th century in Russia, claiming it was a waste of resources that never produced knowledge that was reliable enough to use in formulating state policy. Prison commanders were said to have been greatly disappointed in the Empress. She misunderstood the real purpose of torture which was for prison guards a type of sport. Why could the good empress not understand sportsmanship? Needless to say, with Catherine's eventual death, torture as a sport eventually returned to Russia.
America, though, never suffered the misfortune of torture being fully banned. And, Israel, which is not known for using the results of torture to formulate state policy with, has always focused on the essentials. It developed the sport of torture into an artform, outclassing what has been done anywhere else in the world. It goes beyond anything even the Japanese imperial military medical research unit did to Chinese during World War II and Japanese doctors were the best torture experts the world had hitherto seen. They were so good that the American occupation government never put a single one of these individuals on trial and out of gratitude for their post-war services to Japanese-American friendship, they all had prosperous careers that ended in honor as a reward for innovation in the study of human pain.

According to him, Kiev "has the will, the means and the need to destroy the supply infrastructure" of the Russian Armed Forces.

โก๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ท๐งจ A deafening Slap in the Face to #Iranโก๏ธ
๐ต Political Scientist and Orientalist Nikolay Sevostyanov on the murder of the head of the Hamas Politburo:
๐ด The Assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Politburo of the Palestinian Hamas movement, is, of course, a huge success for Tel Aviv and for Netanyahu personally. At the level of official rhetoric, Iranian resources are already threatening Israel with all possible punishments. Masoud Pezeshkian, after whose inauguration Haniya was killed, said that 'Tehran will defend its sovereignty' and 'will make Israel regret its cowardly act.'
๐ด However, unofficial resources say that the main feeling in Tehran is not even anger, but confusion, a lack of understanding of how this could happen. Middle Eastern media write that the Iranian leadership 'is in deep shock.'
๐ด There is no escaping the argument about collusion in this case. After all, not so long ago, in April of this year, Iran skillfully struck at Israel in such a way as to save face but minimise damage. And in 2020, after the assassination of Qasem Soleimani, the IRGC 'attacked' American bases in the same way. In both cases, Iran communicated indirectly with its 'sworn enemies', essentially putting on a show for the Muslim 'street'.
๐ด Therefore, a reasonable question arises: If Pezeshkian positions himself as a supporter of dรฉtente, did Haniyaโs murder become a kind of 'agreement'? This is possible, but unlikely.
๐ก Firstly, such an obvious slap in the face initially discredits any peacemaking efforts by Pezeshkian.
๐ก Secondly, the real levers for managing global issues are not in the hands of the newly elected president. They haven't found it yet. And itโs not a fact that he will be allowed near them at all.
๐ก Thirdly, if it was decided to โexchangeโ Haniyeh (and there could be many reasons, including those related to intra-Palestinian contradictions), then it is unlikely that Tehran would have agreed to such an operation on its territory.
๐ด So ultimately the issue at hand is not one of behind-the-scenes negotiations, but rather a disastrous security failure. And it is unlikely that such a failure could have occurred without the work of Israeli agents inside #Iran. Which again refers us to the events of recent months, and above all to the death of Ebrahim Raisi.
๐ด In #Iran itself, almost no one believes in an accidental helicopter crash, but for Tehran at this stage to admit not the death, but the murder of its president, means shooting itself in the foot. Because any totalitarian state (which, of course, is Iran - and in this case this is not criticism, but a statement of fact) can be as cruel and even extravagant as it likes, but not weak. And a state where you can kill the president with impunity, and then attack a guest of such a high level as the head of the Hamas Politburo, is weak.
๐ However, Raisiโs ghost will return to us. Tehran probably has evidence of external influence (and it is far from a fact that it is directly Israeli), but it will present it not now, but on the eve of the Great Middle East War, which has become much closer with the murder of Haniya. And this will be a very sure marker of its approach.

A BEDROOM IN TEHRAN
A precision missile, launched outside of Iran, targeting a bedroom in Tehran at 2 A.M.
REALLY?
Every grain of sand in the Arabian peninsula knew Haniyeh was a Forever Target.
Obviously enjoying better protection in Doha than in the capital of the Axis of Resistance.
Theater of the Absurd facts:
- MAJOR embarassment: IRGC air defense does not even qualify as a joke.
- Extra embarassment: distinct possibility of serious on the ground Mossad intel.
- Undisputable helping hand from the Hegemon.
- Op planned even before Bibiโs 58 standing ovations.
Of course every grain of sand from the Gobi to the Sahara knows the Talmudic psychos want a TotalenKrieg against Hezbollah and Iran - but fought by the Americans.
Several red lines were trespassed simultaneously.
The Talmudic psychos believe they can get away with anything; after all they got the collective West to normalize genocide.
The time for repetitive, somnolent rhetoric is over. The Axis of Resistance will be forced to drastically improve their โdeath by a thousand cutsโ game.

๐ฆ๐ทโฑ๏ธThere's a bit of a problem in Argentina. Sixty-two tons of gold worth $4.5 billion, the country's entire gold reserve, had disappeared somewhere.
The government grudgingly announced that the Argentine gold had been loaded onto British Airways charters and shipped to London. Mad President Javier Milay worked for the British bank HSBC before entering politics.
And remember how all of Argentina cheered when Milay won in November 2023? Writing at the time, "Every country must live through its 90s. Without it, it will not be understood. That's exactly what is in store for Argentina."
