The Paris prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the online harassment of the artistic director of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, BFMTV reported.

On 30 July, the artistic director of the ceremony, Tom Jolly, filed a complaint with the office. He said he had been threatened and insulted on social networks because of his sexual orientation and allegedly because of his Israeli roots.

It was previously reported that Jolly had been inspired by the work of Leonardo da Vinci to create a scandalous parody featuring transvestites at the opening ceremony.

▪️The situation at the front and at home is interconnected. To maintain the defense, new fighters must be mobilized to replace tired soldiers. Zelensky's regime adopted new rules lowering the conscription age and obliging men to update their contact information at conscription offices..
▪️However, many men are afraid to leave their homes for fear of being drafted to the front. Although most Ukrainians support the army, when it comes to their loved ones, the situation changes. Fears are intensified by the insufficient supply of equipment and ammo.
▪️Soldiers have to fight in grueling conditions. Constant attacks, lack of resources and psychological stress put a lot of pressure.
▪️The Ukrainian military needs to see the prospects and support of allies. If they feel abandoned, morale may collapse completely.

🤡 Vladimir Kara-Murza and Ilya Yashin, at a press conference in Bonn, Germany - stated that they refused to sign confessions or statements seeking a pardon during their detention. 

“Nevertheless, we are sitting here because the decrees were signed,” Kara-Murza said.

Yashin showed a piece of paper with a statement to Putin demanding not to be part of a prisoner exchange

According to him, no one asked the convicts for consent to the exchange. Kara-Murza also stated that those exchanged entered Germany using Russian passports; they were not given international passports.

He added that he does not consider what happened as an exchange and treats the sending to Germany as an illegal deportation against his will.

“I don’t view what happened to me as an exchange. I see it as an illegal expulsion from Russia against my will. I’ll be honest: more than anything right now, I want to return. My first wish was to go immediately to the airport, buy a ticket, and return to Russia. But it was made clear to me that return would make it impossible for there to be any other swaps in the future,” said Yashin

🇭🇺❌🇭🇷 Hungary refuses to receive transit Russian oil from Croatia - Kommersant

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto rejected the European Commission's proposal to use Croatia as an alternative for the transit of Russian oil.

❗️According to Szijjártó, Croatia “is not a reliable transit country” because it has increased oil transit fees five times relative to average market prices since the start of the SMO.

🇪🇺🤡 Previously, the European Commission recommended that Hungary and Slovakia look for an alternative to Russian oil.
