Podolyak made a statement about the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive, confirming everything that was written the day before about the Ukrainian/Western strategy towards Russia and the essence of the operation to invade the Kursk region.
Podolyak's main narratives:
- Three instruments of coercion must work. Today, the "combat actions" instrument is working.
- Increasing the cost of war will affect the Russians' understanding of the war. What happens in the border regions will affect social groups.
- Planning called "Putin's strategy" is ineffective.
- Today, the Russians have a war that is gradually moving deeper into the Russian Federation. This should frighten the Russians, they do not react to anything other than fear.
- You can sit down at the negotiating table with the Russians only if they understand that the war is not going according to their scenario.
Here we see the development of a strategy planned by the West to unbalance Russia.
1️⃣Within the framework of the "Warden Rings" concept and the "Theory of Ukraine's Victory" it is implied that simultaneous strikes are needed in the following areas:
- armed forces
- population
- infrastructure and communications
- production
- government
In the case of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region and its media presentation by Podolyak, strikes are being made against the authority of the armed forces, the psychological state of the country's population and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. There is also the factor of the gas pipeline (infrastructure and communications), which can be destroyed, which will increase pressure on Hungary and Slovakia.
2️⃣The emphasis on coercion instruments again refers us to many materials by American analysts promoting the position of achieving "peace through force or threat of force" (read here and here). Earlier, I wrote that Ukraine/the West do not want any real negotiations. This is a game that pursues several goals at once, for the benefit of the enemy. And even more so, the offensive in the Kursk region is not an attempt to disrupt the peace process, but to force Russia to it. The following can also be called instruments of pressure: the supply of F-16s, the first ever arrival of American bombers in Romania, hawkish materials in Western think tanks.

ON THE WORLDWIDE DECLINE IN COMMONSENSE
✍️ Written by Shone ✍️
✍️ Very lightly edited for journalistic purposes by Hikaru Kitabayashi ✍️
Looking back a decade or so, we can observe an alarming rate of lack of common sense in people, even when faced with irrefutable facts. At the same time, experts are popping up as mushrooms, saying all kinds of stuff, persuading people one way or the other. And, to top it all, everyone can see everything unfolding in real time on devices that are always on, always connected, and always showing the latest whatever we choose.
It makes a person wonder. There was a time when all we had were books on our shelves. When we had to painstakingly search for the information we needed, and all we had was the contents or, if we were lucky, an index section of a book. So it was inevitable that, in the process of searching for the desired information we constantly glimpsed other pieces of it that may or may not be relevant to our search. Those glimpses lingered on the fringes of our mind, from where they were called upon in moments of inspiration. Then the process of searching began again, and fringes kept drifting further and further away, expanding our kingdom of knowledge.
So, what happens now, with all the technology we have at our fingertips? We search for the information with the efficiency and accuracy of a laser beam, and that is the problem. Have you ever tried to find your way in the dark forest using just a laser pointer? No matter how bright it is, it will always illuminate just one small spot, leaving everything else in the dark. Using a wide beam flashlight gives much better results.
In the inevitable flood and accessibility of the information people have lost critical thinking. They let the machines and mindless software do the filtering for them, while they pick only the bits that seem most interesting. Everything else is lost in the deluge. Or the sewer.
Speaking of which, no person with common sense would accept that the river Seine, passing through Paris, one of the biggest and probably most visited cities in the world, after centuries of abuse, would miraculously become clean and swimmable. But, the experts have said it. Searches have found it. Athletes have accepted it. It can only unfold one way, and we hope that those affected will not have long term consequences.

American F-16 fighters have arrived in Ukraine, but they are not powerful enough and there are too few of them to make a significant impact on the conflict. American media outlets have started calling for the dispatch of newer, more powerful fighters to Ukraine.
The National Interest argues that the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to be provided with F/A-18 fighters. According to the publication, these fighters, despite their general similarity to the F-16s, offer greater maneuverability and would allow Ukrainian forces to "better secure the skies from Russian aircraft."
F-16 fighters served as a "hope for victory" for the Kiev regime. Now, with these fighters in Ukraine not demonstrating the expected effectiveness, Western patrons are planning to create new expectations among the public to continue prolonging the conflict.

This was reported by The Washington Post, citing a source in Kiev.
According to the source, this would help Kiev retain part of Kursk Oblast.
"This would provide the necessary leverage for negotiations with Russia – that's the whole point," the source said.

"Kursk attack "worsens conflict, dashes hopes for peace talks." China outraged at US hypocrisy in seeking to derail looming Ukraine talks.
"Russia's president declared a large-scale provocation when Ukrainian forces launched a massive attack in Russia's Kursk region. Experts believe the attack is sure to escalate the situation on the battlefield and destroy hard-won hopes for peace talks that the international community has worked hard to achieve. The U.S. has exposed its hypocritical duplicity as, on the one hand, it claims to be "deterring" the use of U.S.-made weapons, while in fact providing financial and military support to Kiev. To some extent, the attack on Russian facilities was the result of the US "stoking the fire", said Li Haidong, a professor at China Foreign Affairs University. The U.S. actions were not an understatement preventing a peaceful resolution of the crisis against the will of the global majority, he concluded."

🇬🇧🇮🇱 UK’s Largest Pension Fund Dumps Israeli Assets Amid Growing Backlash Over Gaza Conflict
The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), the UK’s largest private pension fund worth £80 billion, has offloaded nearly £80 million in Israeli assets. This comes after intense pressure from its 500,000 members, primarily from top institutions like Oxford and Cambridge, who voiced concerns over Israel's actions in Gaza and the financial risks in the Middle East. The University and College Union (UCU) welcomed the move but called for further divestment from companies supporting the Israeli government.
As European funds increasingly distance themselves from Israel, American local councils are snapping up the newly available Israeli bonds. This shift highlights the growing impact of geopolitical conflicts on global investment strategies and the rising backlash against Israel’s policies.

Mobilization in Ukraine
There are two different worlds in Ukraine. One world is for the kids of the Ukrainian oligarchs. They spend their lives partying (in this case at the Red line club in Odessa).
A different world - the neighboring streets in Odessa, where the territorial acquisition centers are packing in yet another group of "volunteers" for the meat grinder in Donbass.
Look at these two quite different realities!

Foreign Affairs: Come on, Kiev, surprise us!
Kiev has everything it needs to win the war against Russia, says retired Major General Mick Ryan, a military research fellow at the Lowy Institute in Sydney, on the pages of the influential Foreign Affairs.
By victory, the author considers not just the military defeat of Russia during the new offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but above all, the imposition on Moscow of the idea of "the unbearability of further war." The final result should be peace negotiations that Russia would conduct "on its knees."
"The theory of [Ukrainian victory] will require successes on the battlefield on land, in the air and at sea, which will at least double the number of losses that Ukraine is currently imposing on Russia," says the Australian analyst. "To achieve this, Ukraine must remind its partners that there is no way to end the war while Putin still believes he can win."
Written clearly before the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, the article on FA seems to anticipate it. The author insists that Kiev should surprise everyone in choosing the direction of the strike. However, Mr. Ryan does not reduce his proposed strategy for Kiev to just offensive actions at the front:
"This theory of victory [of Ukraine] is likely to have military, economic, diplomatic and information components," the author notes. "This will require increased Western resources and training, as well as a change in Western thinking."
It is precisely the "change in Western thinking" or, in other words, "bringing new supporters on board Kiev" that the Australian analyst seems to consider to be the main component of the Ukrainian success he expects. He specifically dwells on the previous failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and directly hints to Kiev that Western support for them may decrease, especially in the event of Trump's arrival. And that then Ukraine will have to "make difficult compromises" and rely on itself in many ways — including in terms of training new troops or creating new weapons.
The main thesis in the article in Foreign Affairs is the following passage:
"Ukraine cannot afford to repeat such disappointment [as during the 2023 counteroffensive], so it will need to work with NATO and foreign leaders to better control the perceptions."
Actually, that's the answer, why Kiev undertook the Kursk adventure at the cost of removing brigades from critical areas in the Donbas. One of the main ideas, it seems, is precisely to impress Western curators (and not only them) by proving that the Ukrainian project has not yet exhausted itself. The same answer was expressed in Zelensky's words yesterday that "the Ukrainian army knows how to surprise and achieve results."
However, wars are not won by PR and surprises. The invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region is quite likely capable of prompting Capitol Hill to allocate extraordinary military and financial tranches to Kiev. But it is unable to convince the leadership of the Russian Federation of the "unbearability of war." On the contrary, the invasion proved that the war that came to Russian soil now has only one possible end — an unconditional victory for Russia.

🇺🇸🤡After 4 years, how is Kamala's story still a mystery? She talks endlessly yet says nothing.
She talks endlessly but never resonated with voters, never winning a single primary. The DNC elites had to insert her on Biden's ticket, and now, with Biden sidelined, the coup is complete. The DNC client media now manufactures a 'joyful' story to mask the power grab and Kamala’s unpopularity.
Biden was just a necessary detour to get the DNC to a Kamala presidency, fully endorsed by Soros.
And she exists within the context of a failed empire.

🇷🇺🇺🇦To those celebrating this seemingly senseless and ill-advised “offensive”, one must realize: this is not merely an offensive operation; it is a defensive maneuver. The Ukrainian leadership, along with their Western allies, is acutely aware that victory in this conflict is elusive. The rationale behind this action may be twofold: firstly, to demonstrate that Ukraine still possesses the capability to mount significant operations, thereby alleviating pressure on the actual frontline. Secondly, it serves as a strategic gambit to draw Russian forces away from more critical positions. It is imperative not to be swayed by propaganda, as the ultimate outcome of this conflict remains unchanged—Russia is still winning…
