4 of these drones and 4 missiles intercepted over Kursk (pre-war Russia), that earlier faced a surprise Ukrainian incursion that is into its third day - regional Governor Smirnov.
3 of the drones and 3 unmanned boats intercepted near Sevastopol, Crimea, which houses the Russian Black Sea fleet.
6 people injured in drone attack in the Lipetsk region (pictured on map, pre-war Russia and just 460km south of Moscow). A state of emergency is declared in the Lipetsk municipal district - regional Governor Artamonov.

▪️Russian soldiers struck Ukrainian manpower and equipment in the areas of Darino, Gogolevka, Melovoy, Nikolsky settlements, and the western outskirts of Sudzha.
▪️In the Yuzhny area, the Russian Army Aviation destroyed five Stryker armored personnel carriers; in the settlement of Martynovka. Russian troops eliminated a Ukrainian column comprising a tank, four armored personnel carriers and a Kozak armored combat vehicle.
▪️Russian aviation and missile forces defeated Ukrainian reserves on the territory of the Sumy region.
▪️During the day, Ukrainian losses amounted to more than 280 militants and 27 armored vehicles, including four tanks, five armored personnel carriers, 18 armored combat vehicles, as well as six vehicles, a 155 mm M777 howitzer, a 155 mm self-propelled artillery "Krab", and a 152 mm D-20 gun.
▪️In total, during the fighting in the Kursk region, the enemy lost up to 945 military personnel and 102 armored vehicles, including 12 tanks, 17 armored personnel carriers, six infantry fighting vehicles, 67 armored combat vehicles, as well as 12 vehicles, two self-propelled fire launchers of the Buk M1 anti-aircraft missile system, and three field artillery guns.

We wrote yesterday about the AFU acting in the Kursk Region almost according to the Balakliya scenario: a breakthrough to the maximum depth with pinning down the enemy at static positions and ambushes on military convoys and civilian vehicles.
Our video illustrates this.
Typically, such a mobile recon group consists of three to six armored vehicles ("Kazak" or "Humvee" - no difference). While a third of the force engages the stronghold, the others bypass it and enter nearby settlements to set up ambushes.
Reinforcements are shot on the way, as well as civilian transport, and the AFU units withdraw from the settlements after a brief inspection.
Yesterday, the AFU used this tactic to reach Bolshoye Soldatskoye and further along the Sudzha - Diakonovo highway. And in the Lgov direction, an armored group with a tank advanced to Ivnitsa.
📍As a result, the pinned down troops reported a large-scale enemy offensive, while other units saw AFU equipment literally in every settlement (although these were the same recon groups sequentially visiting village after village), and the picture in the headquarters was depressing.
And in the end, further reconnaissance would reveal that there was no enemy in the settlement.
📌This tactic allows the AFU to achieve the main result: panic and reaching the operational space where there are no pre-prepared positions. To effectively counter this, it is unfortunately necessary to recognize that without dense mining of probable advance routes and fortifying key transport hubs, it will not be possible.
