These scholarships are covered from WIUT’s own financial resources and, therefore, the Executive Team of University makes decision on number of available scholarships based on the financial position of WIUT;

Only those applicants, who indicated their desire to win the scholarship at the point of application to the University, will be considered for the WIUT scholarship program;
WIUT Scholarship is to be offered based on performance in English (IELTS scores only) and the WIUT Entrance exam in mathematics: The principle is a weighted score of 60% IELTS and 40% Mathematics;
Only top thirty applicants who performed highest scores will be granted scholarship. According to University Policy, if someone refuses to study within the top thirty, his/her scholarship offer shall not be transferred to any other candidate beyond the top thirty;

Supporting government’s initiative WIUT allocates 2 places for such category of people from 2020-2021 academic year;
3 scholarship places are available for students who completed full-term military service in the army but with the condition, a student progresses to the next level. Otherwise, the scholarship for such a category of students is withdrawn as well;
Any restriction that had been previously imposed to scholarship students after the graduation in terms of receiving their degree certificates is now lifted.
The University reserves the right to reject those scholarship applicants, who did not meet one of the parameters of WIUT.
For self-financed students:
15% discount is available to self-financed students who managed to be in the Dean’s List (including those who completed the foundation level with merit or distinction). This scheme is also viewed as an incentive for better studying and social support.
Starting from 2019-2020 academic year, in addition to 30 scholarship places, 2 tuition-free scholarship places are allocated for handicapped students.
These scholarships are granted to persons who belong to disability groups I and II, based on the first two highest entry exam scores among them and prove they belong to families with low socio-economic background. Such applicants should submit written applications for a scholarship with all the attached evidence through the Executive Office for consideration.

As promised, the team here at Global Friends is continuing to assess the circumstances on the ground in the U.S. and Uzbekistan.
The good news is that twenty European countries are on the downward COVID curve and businesses are re-opening all around. The world-famous Bondi Beach in Sydney reopened as did 600 garment factories in Bangladesh… China had a week of no COVID deaths. The many U.S. States are beginning to cautiously re-open business establishments. Florida, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee are opening this weekend and a lot of other states are on the way. The U.S. COVID is bending downwards, Coronavirus deaths are dramatically down. Thirty vaccines are being developed, 6 are going through human trials.
On the other hand, there are still a lot of concerns and uncertainty. We are not only monitoring advisements from the CDC, World Health Organization, and the U.S. State Department, but also actively working to understand US and local safety measures, foreign travel restrictions, visa appointment availability, airline operations, and other factors that contribute to successful exchange programs.
We do not have all the answers, and this is still a moving picture. However, it is clear that May start dates are not practical and it would be prudent for the safety of our participants, hosts, and host communities to further delay programming.
With this in mind, Global Friends is continuing to working with Visa Sponsors towards the new program dates which have been recently announced:

Once signed, US Visa Sponsor will update your DS-2019 forms with a Job offer and ship it to our office when possible (please note that in some states Shelter-in-place order has not been lifted yet.) Once we have it, you will be able to pick it up from our office. You all will receive new DS forms, if you have already received DS-2019 before, please hold on to them, you will need to submit them back to us and get an updated document.
Yes, we all heard the news from Havo Yullari, however, we do not have any official confirmation from the government of Uzbekistan that the borders will remain closed as well. It is our understanding that it was only a decision by one particular company not to schedule any flights for any time before the 30th of June, which still can be changed depending on the situation. We still expect that all of the students will be able to arrive to the USA by the 15th of June, with the consideration of welfare and safety.
SWT Program Transfers from Summer 2020 to Summer 2021:
A lot of you have reached our office asking if participation in the program can be rescheduled for next year. We have confirmed this option and it is now available for those of you who are certain that they want to reschedule their program for the next year.
The Work and Travel program is still ACTIVE, but if you are an eligible candidate to participate in the program next year (will be 2nd, 3rd or last year student in the year 2020-2021)
and wish to do so, we can start that process.
Please note, if you choose this option, we will not issue a refund, but will transfer your current payment for the next year. In this case, you will only lose $200 + $35 SEVIS fee (You will be required to pay the fee of $235 in Jan 2021 and nothing else). If you take this option, you will likely not be required to pass sponsor/employer interviews, and your application will be fast-tracked, you will remain all the benefits of being Global Friends' participant (including participation in Conferences, Coaching sessions, Marketing materials, etc) and will have a priority over newly registered participants.

from August 4 to 2020 August 20, 2020 (for refer/defer assessment)
All appeals should be sent to the email (gumrzakova@wiut.uz) of Senior Officer on Academic Policy. Appeal deadlines are strict to follow and appeals sent later than the published deadline and without exam script evidence will not be considered. (Exam scripts have to be requested from the Faculty Office within the set deadline by the Faculty. In case exam scripts provision will be delayed by the Faculty, only this can be considered a valid reason for late appeals to be considered.)
Please be informed that: Academic appeals which seek to challenge the academic judgement of the examiners will not be considered, and therefore matters of academic judgement will not be grounds for an academic appeal. Academic judgement is when you feel and think your mark should be higher than the mark given by your assessor by simply judging the examiner.
You can appeal on cases as that there has been demonstrable material irregularity in the conduct of the Progression and Award Board procedures. It is mostly when there are some technical errors made by the assessor or the feedback you received do not comply with the answers you provided. In appeal form you have to present the reasons for your appeal with the evidence.
According to regulations, all academic appeals are considered at most 20 working days from the day appeal received at Stage 1 and the outcome will be sent to the student's University webmail. In case your appeal has been accepted, if you achieve higher mark, then there will be changes in the student record system(SRS). If your appeal has been rejected, then you will loose refer/defer opportunity if you miss the exam by relying on appeal outcome. Therefore you have to take refer/defer exam in case your appeal results are not announced by the time refer/defer exam day.

Я закончила ваше замечательное заведение 1 год назад. На днях мне понадобилось создать ИП, и юрист меня спрашивает: вы какую систему налогообложения выберете, упрощенную или единый налог на вмененный доход. И тут я понимаю, что понятия не имею, о чем идет речь!
Слова конечно знакомые, но что за этим скрывается без понятия. Как такое может быть, что человек, отучившийся 4 лет в лучшем ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОМ университете Питера, ни разу не слышал о таких определениях?
Как можно ходить на все пары, сдать экзамены на 4 и 5, защитить диплом по специальности экономист-математик и не знать, чем отличается ИП от ПБОЮЛ или это одно и то же?
Почему маркетинг, страхование, бух учет, менеджмент – нам читали преподаватели, которые были старше 60 лет по книгам 20-летней давности?А экономику фирмы вел дедуля, которому было лет 75, и он умер от старости прямо перед зачетом.
Зачем вы меня учили про кривую хикса, эластичность по цене, свот-анализ и градиент? Если я все это знаю, почему я себестоимость своего продукта рассчитываю, просто складывая в икселе все затраты в расчете на единицу, а розничную цену определяю интуитивно, т.к. не совсем понимаю, как эту формулу, которую мы проходили, применить в реальной жизни.
Зачем мне 2 семестра рассказывали про теорию экономических отношений? Любой человек понимает, что есть спрос, а есть предложение и они взаимосвязаны. Каждый знает, что монополия – одна фирма, олигополия – несколько, конкуренция – много.
Зачем об этом целый год говорить и как знание биографии Маркса поможет мне выбрать правильную рекламу своего товара, создать сайт в вордпресс, сделать макет листовок, найти поставщиков, провести презентацию товара, привлечь людей в группу в Контакте?
Я не знаю, как выписывать чек покупателю, я не знаю, где взять кассовый аппарат, нужен ли он мне, и как им пользоваться, я не умею учитывать расходы и доходы (но знаю статьи дебета-кредита бухгалтерского баланса – на 3м курсе проходили, на пятерку сдала).
И самое неприятное, даже, если я буду нарушать закон, я даже не узнаю об этом, т.к. я понятия не имею, что можно делать, а что нельзя (правоведение и налогообложение – тоже на 5 сданы).
Почему мои одногруппники работают агентами по продажам и раздают листовки в торговых центрах, а некоторые вообще до сих пор работу найти не могут?
Может быть потому, что они НИЧЕГО не знают и не умеют? Короче уважаемый ректор спбгуэф, некогда мне тут разглагольствовать, т.к. надо сейчас весь интернет перерыть, чтобы почитать информацию про налоговую отчетность и организацию ИП – простейшую единицу рыночных отношений, про которые мы 5 лет, 6 дней в неделю слушали, записывали, зубрили, сдавали экзамены и защищали дипломы, и о которых я ничего не знаю, как оказалось.
П.С: 5 лет в вашем вузе – самое бездарное времяпрепровождение, какое только может быть. Хорошо хоть я после 1го курса работать начала, иначе совсем бы отупела.
Из десятков дисциплин, которые у нас были, пригодились только английский, физкультура и теория вероятностей. Из преподавателей – реально чему-то научили 1-2 человека.
Кроме 4 лучших друзей эти годы ничего мне не дали абсолютно. За 1 год жизни в Китае, сменив десяток работ, я узнала в сто раз больше и увидела, что такое экономика на самом деле.
Если вы думаете, что она описывается пересечением кривых IS-LM, то могу сказать, что вы неправы. Ставьте двойку. Диплом в помойку, тем у кого красный – тем более.
ВУЗ ваш отстой, лучше сразу ребенка дворником отправить работать, чем 5 лет по 200 тыс в год платить за обучение. Чем продолжать так учить детей, лучше закройтесь вообще и устройте в здании музей, исторический объект как-никак, бывшее здание ассигнационного Банка России.

Экономики и Финансов – одного из лучших экономических вузов страны,
Я закончила ваше замечательное заведение 1 год назад. На днях мне понадобилось создать ИП, и юрист меня спрашивает: вы какую систему налогообложения выберете, упрощенную или единый налог на вмененный доход. И тут я понимаю, что понятия не имею, о чем идет речь!
Слова конечно знакомые, но что за этим скрывается без понятия. Как такое может быть, что человек, отучившийся 4 лет в лучшем ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОМ университете Питера, ни разу не слышал о таких определениях?
Как можно ходить на все пары, сдать экзамены на 4 и 5, защитить диплом по специальности экономист-математик и не знать, чем отличается ИП от ПБОЮЛ или это одно и то же?
Почему маркетинг, страхование, бух учет, менеджмент – нам читали преподаватели, которые были старше 60 лет по книгам 20-летней давности?А экономику фирмы вел дедуля, которому было лет 75, и он умер от старости прямо перед зачетом.
Зачем вы меня учили про кривую хикса, эластичность по цене, свот-анализ и градиент? Если я все это знаю, почему я себестоимость своего продукта рассчитываю, просто складывая в икселе все затраты в расчете на единицу, а розничную цену определяю интуитивно, т.к. не совсем понимаю, как эту формулу, которую мы проходили, применить в реальной жизни.
Зачем мне 2 семестра рассказывали про теорию экономических отношений? Любой человек понимает, что есть спрос, а есть предложение и они взаимосвязаны. Каждый знает, что монополия – одна фирма, олигополия – несколько, конкуренция – много.
Зачем об этом целый год говорить и как знание биографии Маркса поможет мне выбрать правильную рекламу своего товара, создать сайт в вордпресс, сделать макет листовок, найти поставщиков, провести презентацию товара, привлечь людей в группу в Контакте?
Я не знаю, как выписывать чек покупателю, я не знаю, где взять кассовый аппарат, нужен ли он мне, и как им пользоваться, я не умею учитывать расходы и доходы (но знаю статьи дебета-кредита бухгалтерского баланса – на 3м курсе проходили, на пятерку сдала).
И самое неприятное, даже, если я буду нарушать закон, я даже не узнаю об этом, т.к. я понятия не имею, что можно делать, а что нельзя (правоведение и налогообложение – тоже на 5 сданы).
