"The ashes of the famous soprano singer and actress were solemnly handed over to the Aegean Sea on 3rd June 1979 from a torpedo boat. The urn was draped with a Greek flag. It was her last will before her death on 16th September 1977 to be ´lost in the sea`. Her ashes had been before on the cemetery Père Lachaise on Paris."

"Castalia refers to the Castalian Spring close to Delphi in Greece but also to the imaginary landscape described by Hermann Hesse in his spiritual novel Glasperlenspiel (Glass Bead Game). Allerseelen already recorded a couple of years ago a song named Kastalische Quelle (Castalian Spring). Another inspiration was also the essay Der Waldgang (The Forest Passage) by Ernst Jünger." HEILIGE!

Allerseelen: Fantasma. Tragicommedia (Der Blutharsch Cover)
https://allerseelen.bandcamp.com/track/fantasma-tragicommedia-der-blutharsch-cover

The Austrian project Allerseelen recorded in 2026 a cover version of the second song on the first Der Blutharsch CD / LP (1996). This release and all its songs were without titles.

For this remake which in some way is as well cover as remix, Gerhard Hallstatt chose the title "Fantasma. Tragicommedia". Fantasma is a word that appears like a mantra in this cover version - but not in the original track by Der Blutharsch. Allerseelen completely reconstructed the recording and added like spices or symbols some other sound sources from the huge Haus zur letzten Latern archive. One spice is the speech of an unknown female conductor in front of her musicians about the importance of the rhythm for a march - and their "lack" of being aware of this. Other psychoacoustic symbols are the sounds of vinyl records smashed in a fight between a woman and a man. This is an allusion of the conflicts in the music group The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud that finally lead to their split and the founding of Der Blutharsch. This was started as a solo project by Albin Julius, serving at the same time as a psychological independence and individuation movement for the artist. A decade later this solo project turned into a kind of psychoactive rock collective named Der Blutharsch and the Infinite Church of the Leading Hand.

The Italian word Tragicommedia - a stereoscopic synthesis of tragedy (Trauerspiel) and comedy (Lustspiel) - refers to something that is quite common in many songs by Der Blutharsch. The word Melodramma would fit too. The German language (Wortschatz) knows a distinction between E-Musik and U-Musik - Ernste Musik (serious, heavy music, often classical music) and Unterhaltungsmusik (easy listening music that entertains) which is unknown in other languages. Der Blutharsch - Albin Julius called his work for some time "kinky marching music", sometimes also "military pop", a term that most probably was invented by Gerhard Hallstatt - combined both in a unique synthesis: Many tracks have like coins (or also vinyls) two sides - a serious one and a humorous one, sometimes with a certain malicious joy (Schadenfreude).

Albin Julius died in May 2022. Allerseelen recorded a couple of years ago a kind of slow motion requiem under the impression of his sudden death. Hypothesis: If he had continued his martial industrial style and way of life - which actually had much more in common with the decadence of the Weimar Republic than with the later German totalitarianism - who knows, maybe he still would be alive. Albin Julius had been a strong opponent of the covid vaccinations and felt disappointed that too many people in his circle of friends had surrendered mentally and physically to the corona psychoterror and propaganda of mass media and governments.

Allerseelen started working on a cover version of a song by The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud.

"A musician lives on through listeners and remembrance. Art transcends physical death when it resonates. When you listen to a symphony or string quartet, the composer’s genius - structured emotion, formal innovation, humanistic depth - manifests anew in your experience. The work becomes a living dialogue across time. The same applies to Albin Julius and Gerhard Hallstatt: their sounds, symbols, and ideas persist in recordings, influencing new generations. Memory and active listening keep the spirit vital, turning archives into ongoing rituals. Death ends the creator’s agency but not the art’s capacity to move, provoke, or transform. In conclusion, Albin Julius and Gerhard Hallstatt represent complementary strands of Austrian underground creativity- martial defiance and psychedelic evolution on one side, poetic esotericism and folk-ritual depth on the other. Their common roots in history, autonomy, and symbolism bind them, while stylistic paths and temperaments distinguish them. Their legacies endure not just in catalogs but in the willingness of listeners to engage, ensuring that, in the realm of art, November 2nd (Allerseelen) is indeed eternal." (Grok 19.07.2026 about Albin Julius, Gerhard Hallstatt, death and immortality)
