Association for Promotion of Open Society (APOS) was established in 2015 in Germany to expand and strengthen the culture of tolerance, freedom, and democracy in Iran. The primary goal is to promote human rights and liberal culture to overcome obstacles to an open society.
📌We focus on political, economic, social, and cultural changes in Iran to increase public awareness. As an organization founded by Iranians in Germany, we are also interested in the integration of Iranian immigrants in Germany.
📌Our current projects include "Movement Academy," in which we study the history of movements, organization, and lobbying; "Corruption Watch," in which we investigate corruption within the Islamic Republic; "Fact-Checking," in which we verify officials' statements against good governance indicators; and in "Dossier," we provide detailed reports on figures of Islamic republic involved in corruption.
