🔹Committee on Foreign Affairs of Parliament to host a debate with Iranian opposition voices
According to the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament, the institution will host a meeting on 15 April featuring figures from the Iranian opposition. The event will bring together, among others, Shirin Ebadi, head of the Transitional Justice Committee of Prince Reza Pahlavi’s team, alongside representatives of the Association for the Promotion of Open Society (APOS), the Seventh of Aban Front, the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (PDKI), and the Komala Party, to discuss the current situation in Iran and the prospects for achieving a free Iran.
Representing the Association for the Promotion of Open Society (APOS), Sanaz Behzadi, the institute’s Senior Associate for Iran Affairs and a journalist, will participate as a speaker at the event, where she will discuss the ongoing dynamics of the Iranian revolution, the current situation in the country, and the need for more active engagement by European countries in response to these developments.
