🇹🇷❌🇪🇺❗️ — The Strasbourg court on Tuesday condemned Turkey, as it did in 2019, over the situation of the businessman, an opponent of Erdogan, who not only remains in prison but also received a life sentence in 2022.

▶️In a social media post published on Tuesday evening, Mehmet Ucum accused the ECHR of having "political motivations" in its decision and stated that such decisions "have no value for Turkey."

▶️According to the presidential advisor, the rulings are prompting the country to reconsider its status as a party to the European Convention on Human Rights.

▶️"All parties involved must know that if decisions against Turkey continue to be issued for political purposes, this situation will be inevitable," Ucum said, adding that if this point is reached, "the collapse of the ECHR system will also be inevitable."
