With families mourning in silence.

With voices crushed not by dialogue, but by bullets.
As if the bloodshed were not enough, the regime cuts the internet—
severing our last lifeline to those we love.
We are left staring at silent screens, not knowing
if our family, our friends, our children are still alive… or already gone.
Reports speak of thousands killed.
Countless more arrested, tortured, disappeared—
their only crime demanding dignity, freedom, and a future.
I write this from safety,
but my heart is not safe.
It is heavy.
It is shattered.
It burns with grief and rage.
Silence feeds tyranny.
Awareness shields the victims.
