In the Beta version of Telegram for iOS 12.1 (31369), users can now add text notes to their contacts.
The maximum note length is 128 characters, and emojis are supported.
Comments added to a profile are visible only to you.

In the Beta version of Telegram for iOS 12.2 (31682), a new mechanism for distributing gifts via auction has been discovered.
How the auction currently works:
โข 50 gifts are distributed at different intervals among the top 50 participants with the highest bids.
โข If a bid drops out of the top 50, it is automatically carried over to the next draw.
โข If a bid does not win after the final draw, the stars are fully refunded.
At the moment, the auction applies to newly released gifts. Whether the system will also work for previously upgraded gifts is still unknown.

โข Before a craft, the user can view all possible models that could be the result of the craft after combining multiple gifts.
โข To craft a gift, you can either use your own collectible gifts or purchase the missing ones from the in-app market.
โข The probability of success depends on the number of gifts used and their properties: when using 2 gifts, the chance of losing them is the maximum, while with 4 it's the minimum (however, the risk always remains). In case of failure, all gifts put into the craft are lost.
