Securitize (SECZ) is launching tokenized Apple, Nvidia and Tesla shares on Solana. Securitize Stocks initially covers 12 companies, with liquidity from Jump Trading and settlement in USDC.

Tokens are backed by real shares and retain dividends and voting rights, but do not confer direct registry ownership. Approved investors in the US, Europe and elsewhere get access first during extended hours, then 24/7. They are also planned for NYSE and OKXICE, a joint venture of ICE and OKX, subject to platform launches and regulatory approval.

🗣 Trump Family Investments and Pentagon Contracts

ABC News reports companies backed by Trump’s sons have over $6 billion in active or promised government contracts. Many investments went through 1789 Capital, where Trump Jr is a partner.

➡️ Anduril — 1789 Capital bought a stake in June 2025. Trump recently announced a $6.6 billion investment, including $2.9 billion backed by the Navy for a Baltimore County plant.

➡️ Vulcan Elements — Received a $620 million loan from the Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital in August 2025, when 1789 Capital invested.

➡️ Unusual Machines — Trump Jr became an adviser after the election. It received a Pentagon motor-supply agreement in October 2025.

➡️ Powerus — The brothers invested. A month later, it received its first Air Force order, growing to $90 million in July.

🇮🇷 US Targets Iran’s Crypto

The US plans to confiscate $1 billion in crypto from Iran this week. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Newsmax: “We will probably confiscate a billion dollars in crypto this week.” He said authorities know where the assets are, but did not identify the coins or wallets.

Bessent also said the US had shifted from “maximum pressure” to an “absolute isolation campaign” against Iran, including a naval blockade, air-traffic restrictions and blocked land routes. In May, he said the US had already seized around $1 billion in Iranian crypto.

🔴 Telegram Desktop Vulnerability

A vulnerability in Telegram Desktop, disclosed by researcher BeakSec, allowed attackers to steal files from a computer, including account access data. The attack was confirmed on Windows.

An attacker could add a victim to a group where prepared files downloaded automatically, then send a link such as “rules.” Opening it in a browser triggered the theft. Without a local passcode, the stolen data could enable account access.

The issue was fixed in Telegram Desktop 7.2.9. Users on older versions should update.

🤵 Aptos Adds Encrypted Mempool

Aptos Foundation says its encrypted mempool, AIP-144, is live on mainnet. Users encrypt transaction contents on-device. Block leaders order them without seeing the contents, while validators jointly decrypt and execute them after finalization, protecting against MEV bots that trade against users or copy strategies.

The feature is optional per transaction and encrypts only contents. Sender addresses and fees remain visible. Tests on 50 nodes showed about 20 ms of delay per block. Petra supports it, and Decibel plans private perpetual orders.
