Bitget unveiled GetClaw, an autonomous AI agent for trading built on the OpenClaw platform.

Unlike the previous GetAgent system that worked in a question-answer format, GetClaw operates independently after activation.

The agent monitors portfolio conditions, funding rates, volatility changes, liquidation risks and macro signals, then notifies the trader when important events appear.

Over time it adapts to the user’s trading style, taking into account position preferences, risk tolerance and historical patterns.

🇦🇷 LIBRA Memecoin Team Allegedly Paid Milei $5M for Promotion

Developers of the LIBRA memecoin may have agreed to pay Argentine President Javier Milei $5M to promote the token.

The reported payment structure:

➡️ $1.5M upfront
➡️ $1.5M for an X post supporting the project
➡️ $2M after signing a consulting agreement related to blockchain and AI

The document is dated February 11, 2025, just days before LIBRA launched and Milei publicly posted about the token.

After the promotion, the coin’s price spiked sharply and then collapsed, with investor losses estimated at around $250M.

👀 Messari lays off staff and replaces CEO as it shifts to AI

Analytics platform Messari is restructuring the company to become AI-first, focusing on institutional clients and AI-driven research.

CEO Eric Turner stepped down and will remain an advisor. CTO Diran Li becomes the new CEO following discussions with the board.

The company also carried out layoffs, though the exact number wasn’t disclosed.

Messari is clearly moving toward automation, betting that AI can handle a growing share of research and analytics work.

🥷Wife Used Home Cameras to Steal $60M in Bitcoin

A man lost 2,323 BTC after his wife allegedly used home security cameras to spy on his seed phrase.

Ping Fai Yuen stored funds on a hardware wallet. His wife installed CCTV, watched him enter the recovery phrase, and later moved the coins across multiple wallets.

At the time it was about $60M, today around $170M+. The funds were split across 71 wallets and haven’t moved since 2023.

The situation escalated into a confrontation, with the husband later pleading guilty to assault. Police reportedly found hardware wallets and seed phrases at her place.
