Trump Media sold another 2,628 BTC worth about $165 million. In September 2025, it bought 11,542 BTC at an average price of $118,522.

About seven months ago, Trump Media began selling its bitcoin, offloading 7,281 BTC at an average of $74,855. It still holds 4,261 BTC, valued around $269 million, with total losses estimated at $555 million, per Lookonchain.

🇺🇸 Senators Urge SEC to Probe Trump Meme Coin

Democratic senators Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal called on the SEC to investigate the meme coin TRUMP. Nearly 1 million wallets lost money since its January 2025 launch, with total losses around $3.81 billion. They accused Trump of a "rug pull" and urged a securities law probe.

The issue gains urgency as senators enter August recess. Without Congress passing the Clarity Act this year, the SEC will keep shaping digital asset rules, having said meme coins aren’t securities.
