🤓 Trump’s $5000 Crypto Bet

DWF Labs partner Andrey Grachev said a $5000 payout to every adult American, if Trump wins the midterm elections, would equal about 150% of COVID-era helicopter money. Some could flow into crypto, potentially repeating the 2021 rally.

The campaign promise depends on a Republican victory in both Congress chambers and lawmakers’ approval. It could cost over $1 trillion. Grachev advises moving everything into cash afterward, warning that a crisis would follow.

✔️ ZachXBT Tracks Lazarus Funds

ZachXBT says he infiltrated a Chinese syndicate that, by his estimate, laundered over $1 billion linked to Lazarus Group hacks.

After the Bybit attack, he contacted a broker on Telegram, committing $349,700 and accepting about 5% losses per exchange to gain trust.

The broker disclosed where stolen assets would go. Messages and screenshots identified wallets holding over $12 million from the hack. Tether later froze 442,000 USDT. ZachXBT shared the data with law enforcement and case specialists.

Upbit will list Numeraire (NMR).

Numerai, a hedge fund trading stocks based on forecasts from thousands of data scientists, raised $30 million in a Series C round in November 2025 at a $500 million valuation, five times higher than in 2023. It also bought $1 million worth of NMR, while AUM rose from about $60 million to $550 million in three years.

🤠 Solana DvP Launches

Solana Foundation has launched Solana DvP, an open settlement standard for banks. The MIT-licensed open-source program transfers the asset and money simultaneously. A trade either settles in full or does not settle, with finality in seconds instead of 1-2 days on traditional markets.

It supports SPL Token and Token-2022, including extensions for regulated issuers, and can be used by any two counterparties with a bank, custodian, or exchange as settlement agent.

J.P. Morgan advised on settlement practices but did not develop or approve the program. Audits are complete, and the foundation says it is ready for real funds. Confidential settlement is planned.

🤵 Aptos Unveils MonoMove

Aptos (APT) presented MonoMove, the network’s largest scalability upgrade. The new smart-contract engine reportedly runs up to 55 times faster than Aptos’ current virtual machine on some operations.

Development is planned to finish by the end of 2026. Mainnet launch is targeted for 2027, subject to a vote by network governance participants.

👍 Winklevoss Zcash ETF Filing

Winklevoss Asset Services filed an S-1 with the SEC for the Winklevoss Zcash ETF. The fund would hold ZEC directly and plans to list on Nasdaq under WINK.

Gemini Trust Company, affiliated with the Winklevoss brothers, would serve as custodian. The fee is undisclosed. The filing starts the process, not approval. Regulatory risks around privacy coins and the affiliated custodian could raise conflict-of-interest questions.

Ondo (ONDO) is launching 24/7 trading of pre-IPO assets on the blockchain through Ondo Private Markets. The first notes linked to an undisclosed AI company will begin trading on the secondary market this week.

Notes tied to robotics, cybersecurity, biotech, and infrastructure will follow. Access is limited to eligible investors outside the US in permitted jurisdictions. ONDO is not reacting at all.
