🔹 Ethereum Sets Glamsterdam Test

Ethereum will launch the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet on October 26.

The update adds protocol-level separation between block proposers and builders (ePBS) and block-level access lists (BAL), enabling parallel transaction verification and higher mainnet throughput. Gas pricing for data creation and access will also change. A mainnet launch date has not been set.

👁️ LayerZero Launches Zero Network

LayerZero (ZRO) will launch the Zero mainnet and lzATLAS on November 30. Its first app, Open ATLAS, will support more than 12 trading venues at launch, with more planned by year-end.

lzATLAS is an “exchange without an interface,” providing order matching, settlement and risk-management tools. Institutions are testing it for US stocks and fixed-income instruments, where daily trading and settlement exceed $1 trillion. Partner and performance details will follow.

OpenAI found a critical PHP vulnerability using AI through Patch the Planet. Researcher Calif used GPT-5.6 Sol. Wiz independently found two vulnerabilities.

For two months, OpenAI, Wiz, Cloudflare and others helped PHP developers prepare fixes before disclosure.

OpenAI is allocating $1 billion in subsidized Daybreak access for under-resourced security organizations. It expects AI-found vulnerabilities to rise sharply in the coming months.

Uniswap (UNI) has launched Aggregator Hooks, connecting seven external liquidity sources, including Curve, Fluid and PancakeSwap, as pools in Uniswap v4.

Its router finds the best route across Uniswap pools and external venues, completing swaps in one transaction. Available via the Uniswap web app and API on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain. External-source swaps pay protocol fees used to burn UNI.

Dubai’s DIFC regulator, DFSA, granted Robinhood approval for trading and custody across all 10 asset classes it permits, including stocks, crypto and ETFs.
