The Pudgy Penguins team has launched its new game Pudgy World.

Players can enter the world, create their own penguin avatar and complete small quests inside the game. For now it looks more like a casual exploration experience than a grinding game.

🪙 New Ethereum Standard for AI Agent Payments

A new Ethereum standard called ERC-8183 has been proposed to enable conditional payments between AI agents.

The mechanism works like programmable escrow. Funds are locked and released only after a task is completed.

The idea is to create basic infrastructure for an “agent economy” where software can automatically order services, execute tasks and pay each other on chain.

If AI agents start transacting with each other, standards like this could become the rails for agent-to-agent payments in Web3.

📉 Easy Yield in Crypto Is Drying Up

The era of easy passive yield is fading. Large funds, smart whales, and a wave of liquidations in late 2024 have drained many of the obvious opportunities.

Points farming worked well in 2024–2025 because most people avoided delayed or uncertain rewards. Now that trade is crowded as well.

The remaining yield is more situational. It usually comes from short windows around liquidity events, temporary arbitrage during geopolitical shocks in metals or oil, niche markets with limited competition, RFV trades, or mispriced bets on prediction markets like Polymarket.

The dynamic now looks similar to what happened in poker. As weaker players disappear, liquidity dries up and the share of smart money increases. The game becomes tougher and the edge smaller.

Crypto still moves in cycles, so opportunities will appear again. New niches continue to form, perps markets occasionally break, and prediction markets still offer mispriced bets.

The difference today is simple. Alpha still exists, but it requires far more work to find it.

🥲 Trust Wallet Adds Protection Against Address Poisoning

Trust Wallet introduced automatic protection against “address poisoning” across 32 EVM networks.

The scam works when attackers send a small transaction from a wallet address that looks similar to the victim’s, hoping the user copies it from transaction history.

More than 225M poisoning attempts have already been recorded, with confirmed thefts exceeding $500M.

Trust Wallet will now automatically check addresses and warn users if something doesn’t match.

🤖 Student Turns $1.4K Into $238K Using Claude

User 0xdE17 reportedly turned $1,430 into $238,000 in 11 days using a trading bot built on Claude.

The bot monitored Polymarket and searched for markets where the price of an outcome diverged from the estimated real probability.

Stats from the run:

➡️ 62% win rate
➡️ best trade: +$52,700

The largest position was a bet that Trump would sign a crypto executive order in March. The bot entered with $16K at 28¢ and exited at 81¢.

According to Forbes, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao’s net worth has reached about $110B, up $47B over the past year.

📈 He now ranks #17 on the global rich list, ahead of Bill Gates.

The increase is largely tied to the recovery in Binance’s valuation, which the market now estimates at roughly $100B.

🤖 AI Trading Experiment on Polymarket

In an experiment, two AI agents were each given $1,000 and 48 hours to trade on Polymarket.

Claude executed thousands of short-term BTC and ETH arbitrage trades and finished with about $14,000, a +1322% return.

OpenClaw had the opposite result. It was fully liquidated and lost the entire account.

🎰 $339 Bet on Musk Tweets Turns Into $83K

A Polymarket user turned $339 into $83,672 by betting on the number of tweets Elon Musk would post.

The market asked traders to predict how many tweets Musk would publish between March 3 and March 10.

The user bought 127K “Yes” tokens for the range 340–359 tweets per week for $339.

When the outcome settled, the position paid out $83.7K.

📉 Crypto VC Funding Falls to 6-Year Low

Venture capital investment in crypto projects dropped to $2.2B in Q1 2026, the lowest level in six years.

Most of the funding went to crypto financial services (24%) and DeFi (27%).

Early stage activity is especially weak. Seed rounds totaled just $166M, roughly back to 2020 levels.

⚠️ $50M AAVE Trade Turns Into $36K

A user tried to buy $50M worth of AAVE through the Aave interface.

The swap went through an extremely illiquid pool, and the interface repeatedly warned about massive slippage. The user confirmed the warnings and executed the trade from a mobile device.

The result: 324 AAVE received, worth roughly $36K.

Almost the entire amount was captured by MEV during the transaction.

➡️ MEV bot paid Titan Builder: 16,927 ETH (~$34.8M)
➡️ Titan Builder paid Lido validator: 568 ETH (~$1.2M)

Aave says it will try to contact the user and refund about $600K in fees collected from the swap.

One click through the warnings turned a $50M trade into a $36K position.
