💎 TON Token to Rebrand as Gram

TON's native ecosystem token will soon revert to its original name, Gram, as first introduced in the project's initial whitepaper by the Durov brothers. Pavel Durov announced the transition will take about three weeks.

The blockchain will keep the name TON, with the rebranding applying only to the token itself. Gram was the original name back in 2018 when the project raised around $1.7 billion in funding. The team aims to "return to its roots" and start a new chapter for the ecosystem.

❌ 1inch Accused of Scamming Users on Swaps

A warning has surfaced against using 1inch for token swaps, claiming the aggregator is currently scamming users during exchanges. Support reportedly responds with generic replies, leaving users unable to prove any wrongdoing, reflecting typical DeFi challenges.

The issue arises because 1inch does not allow setting slippage or price range during swaps. Instead, it shows only the amount and an "Amount Guarantee" message promising the best price within certain limits. However, users end up with 2-5% less tokens in their wallets after the swap, as demonstrated in a recent transaction.

Arthur Hayes and Kyle Samani (Multicoin Capital) have made a $100,000 bet on HYPE vs SOL from June 2 to January 1. Hayes believes HYPE will outperform the top 10 by returns, while Samani backs SOL with proceeds going to charity.

😃 Polymarket Faces Dispute Over Strategy Bitcoin Sale

Polymarket is in controversy over its $129.5 million market on whether Strategy sold Bitcoin before May ended.

On June 1, Strategy reported selling 32 BTC in the last week of May, but the market had closed with a "No" outcome earlier.

"Yes" contract holders dispute this, saying the sale was before the deadline.

The "No" side says confirmation came after closure.

The market description was updated post-closure to ignore late confirmations. The market is under final review as traders await Polymarket's decision.

❕ Binance announces that starting 2026-06-03, users holding transferable NFTs on Binance will have one month to withdraw them to their Binance wallet or other compatible wallets.

After the upgrade on 2026-07-03, support for the current NFT service on Binance will end, and any NFTs not withdrawn by then will become inaccessible. Non-transferable NFTs cannot be withdrawn.

🪙 Mastercard Enables Stablecoin Payments

Mastercard will allow issuers and acquirers to choose between fiat or blockchain payments using a unified infrastructure. Supported stablecoins include USDC, PYUSD, USDG, USDP, RLUSD, and SoFiUSD.

The platform will operate across blockchains such as Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and XRPL. Initial partners in the US and Latin America include ARQ, CBW Bank, Cross River, Lead Bank, and Nuvei. Expansion to other regions is planned by the end of the year.
