La Spezia – Le minacce nei bagni, all’intervallo. La fuga di Abanoub Youssef, 18 anni appena, verso la sua classe. Come per raggiungere un rifugio. Una corsa disperata e senza successo. Perché Zouhair Atif, pure lui neo maggiorenne, poco prima di mezzogiorno accoltella al fianco destro Abanoub sull’uscio dell’aula.
È un insegnante a disarmare l’aggressore, mentre Abanoub si accascia in un lago di sangue, circondato dai ragazzi terrorizzati. Lotterà fra la vita e la morte fino alle otto di sera. Poi, dall’ospedale Sant’Andrea la comunicazione ai familiari: il ragazzo non ce l’ha fatta.
Ora sono la polizia e la Procura di Spezia a dover indagare su questa storia dell’orrore fra i banchi dell’istituto Einaudi-Chiodo, pieno centro città, scuola multietnica. Atif è in carcere con l’accusa di omicidio, arrestato in flagranza. Secondo gli inquirenti è molto probabile che Abanoub quando era in bagno abbia visto il coltello di circa venti centimetri in mano al coetaneo, e per questo abbia provato disperatamente ad arrivare al suo banco…
