Each of us on the BE-EDGE team relocated to the US, so we created virtual sessions that we wish we had back then to navigate our ways in the new market.
‘Crafting Your Boutique Employability for a New Market’ is developed by Julia Ivy Ph.D., professor at Northeastern University in Boston, USA, together with invited experts.
The event comprises a sequence of FIVE sessions, which lead you through the questions and choices you make when deciding whether to enter a new professional market:
YOU: What are my options as an educated international newcomer?
MARKET ENTRY: How can I enter a professional market at my level?
EMPLOYABILITY: What should I focus on in crafting my employability for that market?
INTEGRATION: How can I integrate into a new environment – culturally and personally?
ACTION: What’s next?
By the end of the intensive, you will feel empowered and have a clear personal strategy with steps you can follow. On top of that, you will walk away with a handful of materials to present yourself in the new market.
