TRANSCRIPT:
Hello and Happy Nature’s Day.
We’ll be back shortly with the answer to our ‘t-shirt quiz’!

‘Finders keepers’ is the first half of the children’s adage ‘Finders keepers, losers weepers’. You may want to know that the verb ‘be’ is left out from here. So in essence the adage reads as ‘Finders ARE keepers and losers ARE weepers.’. Now, the first half means that if someone finds something by chance, they can keep it for themselves, even though it does not belong to them. The second part, that is ‘losers weepers’, which often remains unsaid, means that the person who’s lost that something will cry!
Interesting, isn’t it?

Can you now say what the design and slogan on the t-shirt suggest and whether you personally agree that finders are keepers?
If you want your voice to be heard, send us your voice message of no more than 30 seconds in length and we’ll post it onto our channel on your behalf.
We look forward to listening to your views.
Bye for now.
