🎓 Required Education & Experience:
BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, or related fields.
5 years of gross experience, of which: 3 years must be in contract administration.
2 years as an office engineer, contract administration engineer, project coordinator, or related assignments.
📋 Roles & Responsibilities:
The employee will guarantee the client's interests by ensuring all parties fulfill contractual obligations, managing project documentation, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and ensuring the project is administered fairly and in accordance with contract documents.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Master all contract documents (agreements, conditions, drawings, specifications, addenda), clarify obligations of both client and contractor, and rigorously monitor site activities.
Documentation Control: Manage project documentation by controlling the issuance, revision, and archiving of all RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and meeting minutes. Maintain a complete, organized record of all correspondence and decisions.
Cost & Financial Control: Meticulously scrutinize monthly requisitions for completed work and materials, recommend/certify payments, monitor the contract sum, contingency funds, and financial impacts of changes, and administer payment holdbacks.
Schedule & Claims Management: Evaluate baseline and updated schedules (including CPM), compare progress against timelines, and assess Time Extension claims fairly.
Dispute Mitigation: Proactively identify issues, implement Early Warning processes, act as a mediator to resolve disagreements, and provide organized records for formal resolutions.
