We’ve listened to your feedback and realized that many players wanted to pet a Folk but didn’t get the chance to grab one of the NFTs.
That's unacceptable—everyone should be able to pet their Folk, and also to fight with them: a solution was necessary.
Long story short, Kappa is here, and is gonna be a default Folk for ALL the players! You can pet them, you can fight against bosses and other players with them, you can send them on missions.
What can't you do? Teach them spells and merge them (feature coming very, very soon). But who knows, maybe one day you'll be able to convert Kappa into an NFT, and then...🐱

We started working on FOLK about one year ago with the core idea in mind: giving users the freedom to set the rarity of their own NFTs by increasing their scarcity. In the meantime, many things have happened—FOLK won the Berlin Telegram hackathon, the game grew bigger, and we did our best to give our players new features and deeper gameplay. Today, we are very happy to announce that the core feature is finally ready: the Folks merge is live!👀
Players can now merge two Folks of the same species and not only increase their level and stats, but also reduce the number of Folks available, making their Folk more powerful and valuable. The Luck of your Folks will also play a crucial role in the process, influencing the chances of getting a higher stat increase.

We’ve officially finished the cleanup of inactive accounts to pave the way for a balanced Arena mode. By removing "dead supply" from the economy, we’ve ensured that the resources held by our active community are more meaningful than ever.
Here is the final tally of what was incinerated:

To ensure your progress is saved and your profile is protected, you can now link your Telegram account to a Google and X accounts.
How to link:
Open the game in your browser (https://folk.lol/game) and connect with your Telegram account.
From the main game screen, tap on Settings and click on Linked Accouts to secure your profile.
