Ecuadorian conjoined twins José Luis and José Armando Cevallos known online as “siamesesdelecuador” have died at age 27, leaving more than 60,000 Instagram followers mourning their loss. Their social media team announced their passing on October 15, just three days after the brothers shared a video of their daily lives.

According to their close friend Fernando Carrillo, the twins were hospitalized after José Luis suffered cardiac arrest. Although doctors stabilized him, José Armando reportedly suffered a heart attack minutes later, and both brothers passed away.

The entire internet is on fire. A day before the patch was ready, and hackers got a 24 hour head start on about 70 percent of the internet. It’s called PHP2Shell, two critical bugs in PHP, the language behind every WordPress site, Drupal, Joomla and even Wikipedia.

No password needed. They can run their own code on the server and read other people’s logins straight out of its memory. The bug has been sitting in PHP since 2012 and nobody found it until researchers pointed AI at the code this year.

Patches came out yesterday for PHP 8.2 and up. If your site is on anything older, there is no official fix coming and the whole server needs upgrading.

If you run a WordPress site, send this to whoever looks after it today and ask what version of PHP you’re on. Next video, one of my pen testers is going to hack a WordPress site in our lab using this exact bug so you can see what the attacker actually gets.
