An IELTS test taker from Canada (thanks, D!) remembered the following information about a recent exam:

Section 2. A radio program about the ship St. Mary that sank.
Section 3. A teacher and student talked about a dissertation regarding absence reduction at work places.
Section 4. A lecture about a certain experiment.
Reading test
Passage 1. About the environmental noise and hazards associated with it.
Passage 2. A research that compared humans and gorillas, including certain genetic traits such as patience.
Passage 3. The opinion of Leo Tolstoy about art.

شانسی زدن و نمره منفی در لیسنینگ و ریدینگ آیلتس
Negaitve Point in IELTS Listening
نمره منفی در امتحان آیلتس وجود ندارد! بخش شنیداری یا لیسنینگ و بخش خواندن یا ریدینگ آیلتس هر دو دربرگیرنده 40 سوال هستند که هر سوال یک امتیاز دارد. پاسخ درست دادن به هر یک از این سوال ها یک امتیاز برای شرکت کننده خواهد داشت و جواب ندادن یا جواب نادرست دادن به معنی از دست دادن همان یک امتیاز خواهد بود.
آیا میتوان با شانسی زدن در آیلتس نمره آورد؟

بسیاری از زبان آموزان این پرسش را مطرح میکنند و با توجه به نبود نمره منفی به نظر میرسد بتوان از این راه نمره را بالا برد اما در حقیقت اینطور نیست. در بسیاری از سوالات ریدینگ و لیسنینگ آیلتس باید کلمه مربوطه را نوشته یا تعداد گزینه هایی بیش از 4 گزینه وجود دارند که پاسخ دادن تصادفی را با مشکل جدی مواجه میکنند.
با اینهمه در تعداد محدودی که تنها 4 گزینه وجود دارد اگر زمان به پایان رسیده باشد میتوان با شانسی زدن به به دست آوردن نمره ای اندک امیدوار بود. به هر حال این شیوه پاسخ دادن از خالی گذاردن گزینه ها بهتر است!
