Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You were on a business trip recently and forgot something at the hotel. Write a letter to the hotel manager and say

– Suggest what he/she should do about it.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

More and more people buy or use cars and it makes an impact on the environment. Discuss the consequences of this trend. What could be a solution to the problem?

کتاب های Focus on Vocabulary 1 و Focus on Vocabulary 2 دربرگیرنده متن های نسبتا طولانی در فصل های گوناگون با موضوع هایی مختلف هستند که با هدف تقویت مهارت ریدینگ، درک مطلب و تقویت واژگان و گسترش دایره لغات طراحی شده اند.

نگارندگان این دو کتاب کوشش کرده اند با اصل تکرار چندین و چندباره(تا ۱۵ بار) واژگان تازه زبان انگلیسی در چهارچوب تمرین های گوناگون این واژگان را وارد حافظه دائم زبان آموزان کرده و دایره واژگان ایشان را گسترش دهند. تمرین های این کتاب بسیار گوناگون بوده و بر ترکیب ها یا collocation ها و همچنین بر به کار گیری شکل درست واژه از نظر دستوری تکیه دارند.

جلد دوم این کتاب در واقع واژگان دانشگاهی یا فهرست معروف Academic Word List را پوشش میدهد و برای تمامی علاقمندان زبان انگلیسی به ویژه زبان آموزان علاقمند به شرکت در آزمون های آیلتس و تافل میتواند بسیار سودمند و کارگشا باشد. این کتاب ها را میتوان هم بصورت کلاسی و هم بصورت خودآموز در دستور کار و برنامه درسی داشت ولی در نهایت شیوه کار و جدیت و پیوستگی در تمرین ها چاره ساز و تاثیر گذار خواهد بود.
