Entonces, ¿qué puedes hacer para no bloquearte al hablar en inglés? Aquí te dejo algunos tips:

PREPARATION IS EVERYTHING.
Si tienes la suerte de saber sobre qué vas a estar hablando, piensa de antemano algunas frases que sabes que tendrás que decir. Por ejemplo, si vas a hablar con algún superior sobre algún tema en especial, anótate algunas cosas claves que crees que dirás. Sentirse preparado te ayudará a relajarte. (The brain needs to be relaxed to achieve optimum performance).

PRACTICE READING OUT LOUD.
Busca tu libro favorito en inglés, o algún artículo que nunca hayas leído. Leer te ayudará a practicar tu fluidez.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Si te preparas y practicas, lo que te queda para poder hablar en inglés sin bloquearte es confiar en tí y en tu conocimiento. Self-doubt (dudar de tí mismo) puede arruinar tu progreso. ¡Debes saber que tú puedes!

Ya sea para hablar o para escribir en inglés, es muy importante aprender a usar nuevo vocabulario que te haga sonar más profesional.

Un cliente me preguntó hace poco qué podía hacer para mejorar su inglés, y lo primero que se me ocurrió fue usar sinónimos de una palabra que se utiliza a menudo: BECAUSE.

Entonces, opté por enviarle la siguiente lista con formas diferentes de decir “because” en inglés.

👉 as a result of: “As a result of the accident she won't be coming”.
👉 on account of: “On account of his absence he will not be paid”.
👉 in view of: “In view of recent events the store will be closing”.
👉 considering: “Considering the new rules, he will not have access to the first floor”.
👉 owing to: “Owing to the traffic being light, she made it to the party on time”.
👉 since: “Since he can’t swim, I think it is unlikely that he will get in the pool”.
👉 thanks to: “Thanks to the new intern, the sale was possible”.

¿"NETO Y BRUTO" EN INGLÉS?

Estoy seguro de que puedes imaginar la situación:

The negotiation is going perfectly but then you want to ask if the salary is "NETO" or "BRUTO"!

Or

You want to ask the GM the profit is "NETO" or "BRUTO"!

Whatever the context is, it's vital to have these terms at hand!
