Mohammad Raeeszadeh, head of Iran’s Medical Council, said 33 of its members have been arrested during the recent protests.
Referring to claims circulating online that “doctors were arrested for treating the injured,” he warned this is extremely dangerous, stressing that under medical ethics and the physician’s oath, doctors must treat anyone who needs help without bias and without asking who they are: “this is our red line.”
In recent days, images have circulated showing security forces attacking hospitals and medical facilities, including a widely reported incident in Ilam, and earlier footage of an attack on Sina Hospital in Tehran.

محمد رئیسزاده، رئیس سازمان نظام پزشکی ایران، اعلام کرده است که ۳۳ نفر از اعضای این سازمان در جریان اعتراضات اخیر بازداشت شدهاند.
او با اشاره به ادعای مطرحشده در فضای مجازی درباره «بازداشت پزشکان به دلیل درمان مجروحان» گفته است: پزشک بر اساس تعهد حرفهای و سوگند پزشکی موظف است به هر مصدومی، بدون سوگیری و بدون پرسیدن ماهیت او، کمک کند، «این خط قرمز ماست».
در روزهای اخیر، تصاویری از حمله نیروهای امنیتی به بیمارستانها و مراکز درمانی منتشر شده؛ از جمله حمله به بیمارستانی در ایلام و نیز تصاویری از حمله به بیمارستان سینا در تهران در نخستین روزهای اعتراضات.

Mohammad Raeeszadeh, président de l’Organisation de l’Ordre des médecins en Iran, a déclaré que 33 membres de cet organisme avaient été arrêtés lors des récentes manifestations.
Il a averti qu’une campagne sur les réseaux sociaux affirmant que « des médecins auraient été arrêtés pour avoir soigné des blessés » est très dangereuse, rappelant qu’un médecin, conformément à son serment et à son devoir professionnel, doit soigner toute personne blessée sans parti pris et sans chercher à connaître son “profil” : « c’est notre ligne rouge ».
Ces derniers jours, des images d’attaques de forces de sécurité contre des hôpitaux et des centres de soins ont circulé, notamment à Ilam et, au début des manifestations, à l’hôpital Sina à Téhéran.
