As website Human rights in Iran quoted psychologist Mostafa Forootan, suicide age in Iran has reduced from to teenage.
Forootan stated the factors leading to suicide among teenagers as disease, drugs, grief, family disputes, poverty, discrimination, geographical factors and teachers’ mistreatment with students. @irannc

Condemning the Education #System for the Increase in the #Suicide Rate Amongst Children
Per the #Human_Rights in #Iran website, according to a report by Roozan newspaper, the suicides of one hundred and eleven #children in Iran during 2003 and 2005 have been due to the “humiliation” of children in schools and the blame has been placed on the #education system.
In its January 14th issue, the newspaper Jahan Sanat announced the "suicides of several students and children under the age of sixteen in various cities throughout the country".
The newspaper reported that "humiliation" by a teacher and the "pressure" to be bribed with money from parents has been the cause of two suicides.
“Roozan”, in continuation with its study on the evaluation of the performance of the education system, writes,” the education system still does not believe in the teaching of psychology and related studies for the prevention of suicide in the classrooms.”
The suicide rate in Iran according to institutions and officials is said to be increasing and its extent now includes children.
