Three years ago this month, Joe Biden’s handpicked AG’s handpicked special counsel brought a THIRD federal criminal indictment against President Trump. (Then asked for gag orders on him a year before the election.)
That came on top of thousands of federal criminals charges against his supporters. And wide ranging investigations into Trump associates including his own attorneys.
Joe Biden’s DOJ hauled dozens of individuals including VP Mike Pence before DC grand juries in search of crimes.
We now know 200+ MAGA-tied organizations and donors and influencers were also under DOJ investigation.
And Jack Smith—working under the authority of Merrick Garland—found a back door way to obtain text messages of 40+ Republican members of Congress.
Not a single member of the media ever confronted Merrick Garland about doing the bidding of Joe Biden. To the contrary, the media lamented that Garland then Jack Smith weren’t working fast enough to put Trump in prison before the 2024 election.
No questions about the DOJ’s “independence” from the White House—despite evidence disclosed in the documents case in 2024 that prosecutors were in communication with Biden’s top White House attorneys—including at least two visits to the Biden White House prior to the indictments.

Remember the three men acquitted in 2023 on Michigan state charges related to the Whitmer fednapping hoax?
Two of the men--brothers William and Michael Null--are suing several officials including MI AG Dana Nessel; FBI agents Steve D'Antuono (who was promoted from Detroit FBI office chief to Washington DC FBI office chief by Chris Wray weeks before Jan 6); FBI special agents Richard Trask (the lead case agent fired after he assaulted his wife in a post-swingers party in Michigan), and Henrik Impola and Jayson Chambers, who "handled" the top two FBI informants; and two FBI undercover agents who helped accelerate the plot toward the end...including one who pretended to be an explosives expert and showed the targets a video of an exploding SUV. That video had been produced by the FBI.

The lawsuit accuses the defendants of violating several of the Null brothers' Constitutional rights. Details in the lawsuit reveal FBI tactics used a few months later...and for years after that...in J6 raids.
"Plaintiff Michael Null informed police that his minor 13 year old daughter, M.R.N., was alone at home. The government went to Michael Null’s home to execute the search warrant, and pulled a gun on M.R.N. when she attempted to put her cell phone in her pocket. M.R.N. was handcuffed and detained for hours while police searched Michael Null’s home.
While Plaintiffs were in custody, and detained, the government went to William Null’s home, and again drew their guns on grandpa, who is hard of hearing, for not walking fast enough in their direction. The police shouted they would 'put him down like a dog' if he did not comply. Plaintiffs’ minor children were handcuffed for hours during the search. An aunt arrived to remove the children from the premises, and the police required her to leave because 'no minors were on site.'
During the search of Plaintiffs’ homes, the government caused as much damage as possible. It certainly appeared unnecessary and intentional. Doors were kicked in, drywall was removed, a car was run over by the government’s mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicle, MRAP, causing $18,000.00 in damage to Plaintiff’s car.
Plaintiffs, construction workers, lost significant business while their case was pending, and their business, Null Building and Remodeling, was destroyed by the brand 'domestic terrorist.'"

As I have said repeatedly—and Jack Smith confirmed here—Arctic Frost would have made the Jan 6 investigation look like a cakewalk.
Smith was preparing to indict hundreds of GOP lawmakers, WH officials, MAGA-associated groups, influencers, and the president himself (again)—and perhaps even media organizations—under Arctic Frost.
There is no federal crime related to “blocking the peaceful transfer of power”—which by the way, Jack Smith, happens on January 20, not January 6.
But Smith and his team undoubtedly were collecting evidence to bring more conspiracy and obstruction charges against these individuals and groups.
But by the end of 2023, Smith ran up against two potential SCOTUS roadblocks: the presidential immunity question out of the J6 case in Washington AND the Fischer decision related to the lawful use of the 1512(c)2 obstruction statute in Jan 6 cases.
The latter decision, issued in June 2024, handed a blow to Smith’s effort to criminalize free speech and political activity. SCOTUS held that the post-Enron corporate fraud statute required some evidence of document tampering/destruction. That’s not, however, how the Biden DOJ applied the statute in 300+ cases—so those charges/convictions were systematically tossed.
So, Smith essentially lost the ability to use 1512—which represented 2 of 4 counts in his J6 indictment against Trump and would not have survived a Fischer-like challenge before SCOTUS again—in potential Arctic Frost prosecutions.
Even though Smith probably believed the “fake electors” certificates would have met the documents threshold. (Doubtful)
But he likely planned to use the conspiracy against rights charge he brought against Trump to these targets.
Lawmakers and WH officials and journalists were not being “spied on” or even considered potential witnesses.
They were under investigation by this scumbag, his henchmen in special counsel office, and his puppet masters in the Biden DOJ and White House.
Don’t lose sight of this—and what the country avoided with Trump’s win in 2024.

I have covered this extensively but worth repeating given today’s document dump.
As this document shows—as late as the end of May 2023, Smith was continuing to conduct the classified documents investigation in Washington rather than the proper jurisdiction of southern Florida, where the alleged crimes were committed.
And we know why. Smith would NEVER have gotten away with this in southern Florida. Not a chance, for example, a federal judge would have pierced attorney-client privilege by citing the crime fraud exception in the documents case—as the equally corrupt Chief Judge Beryl Howell did in early 2023.
Smith switched venues at the last minute to bring the first documents on June 8, 2023. He reportedly read grand jury transcripts to a FLA grand jury to secure the indictment.
Dirty, dirty.
Judge Cannon repeatedly pressed Smith’s prosecutors as to why the investigation was conducted in DC rather than FLA. They claimed it was easier because all the witnesses lived in DC.
She even suggested at one point that Trump’s team had a solid abuse of grand jury case against Smith.
This to me has always stood out as the biggest example of Smith’s unchecked and destructive power.

Cannon sort of blew up at Smith’s team in August 2023 related to the special counsel’s attempt to disqualify Stanley Woodward, who represented Walt Nauta at the time.
She accused Smith of wasting her time then gave Nauta an opportunity to address the grand jury proceedings in DC—WHICH WERE STILL ONGOING even after Smith handed down 2 indictments in the docs case.
Smith shut down the DC GJ after this. And Boasberg continually refused to release all the GJ transcripts to Cannon; she dismissed the case in July 2024.

Last week, Sen Charles Grassley asked Jack Smith if he had received “consultation or counsel” from former CIA Director John Brennan.
After a pause, Smith replied, “I’ve never met John Brennan.”
But he knew at the time his team had met with Brennan in late 2023 under the guise of Brennan serving as an “expert witness” in the documents case.
Really wish the names of the prosecutors were not redacted but I’m guessing they are Jay Bratt and David Harbach—and either JP Cooney or James Pearce.
Thank God Judge Cannon shut down this farce.

So once again, Mr. Rule of Law (and No Kings protester!) hedged his answer. Just like when he was asked last year about collecting the content of phone records of sitting members of Congress.
The question—while not entirely properly constructed—nonetheless related to whether his office had communicated with Brennan.
And I am not convinced the notes of the meeting are truthful. Even as arrogant and corrupt and sloppy as his team was, surely they knew Cannon would NEVER permit Brennan to act as a government witness in the case.
So what were they conspiring to do? Hopefully, the prosecutors in the “grand conspiracy” investigation will find out when Brennan is questioned later this month.

NYT reports today that the Obama DOJ first started investigating Ilhan Omar (alias) marriage to her brother ten years ago. “Federal agents in Minnesota opened an investigation, according to several people familiar with the matter. They found evidence suggesting that Mr. Elmi and Ms. Omar were siblings, according to the six former and current officials familiar with the case. But, because prosecutors did not pursue the matter, the agents had limited investigative tools, the officials said.”
After rumors of the sham marriage—it was well known in Minneapolis’ Somali community back then—threatened to derail her run for state representative, the Obama appointed U.S. Attorney for Minnesota stepped in to save her with this extraordinary letter to her attorney.
She was elected to Congress in 2018.
Andrew Luger was later rewarded with the same appointment from Joe Biden. He then worked closely with—guess who?—Lisa Monaco.
