Sudden Arrest of Ali Zehdi, a Civil Engineer from Tabriz, by Security Forces

#Ali_Zehdi, a civil engineer residing in Tabriz, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to the Campaign for Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Mr. Zehdi was arrested without prior notice and in complete ignorance of his family on Monday, March 10th, 2024. His family only became aware of his detention after Mr. Zehdi contacted them by phone to receive his heart medication.

Ali Zehdi suffers from a heart condition and requires medical care and specific medication.

So far, there is no information available about the detaining authority, the place of detention, or the charges against this citizen.
