Tabriz Revolutionary Court; Armita Pavir was Sentenced to 22 Months and 17 Days in Prison

#Armita_Pavir, a student activist was sentenced to a total of 22 months and 17 days in prison by the Revolutionary Court of this city. She was expelled from Shahid Madani University of Tabriz, major in cellular and molecular biology.

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, in recent days Armita Pavir, a student activist and an expelled student of the cellular and molecular biology department of Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan, was sentenced to a total of 22 months and 17 days in prison.

According to the verdict sent to Mrs. Pavir, this Azerbaijani student activist was sentenced to 15 months and 1 day for the charge of “insulting the leadership” and 7 months and 16 days for the charge of “propaganda against the regime”.
