Execution of a Prisoner in Yazd

The death sentence of a prisoner named #Asghar_Barzegar, who was charged with “narcotic drugs”, was performed in Yazd Central prison.

According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the death sentence of a man was executed in the central prison of Yazd on the morning of Thursday, January 4th, 2024.

This prisoner, whose identity has been confirmed as 32-year-old Asghar Barzegar, was sentenced to death on charges related to “drugs”.
