Jamal Ameli Transferred to Evin Prison

#Jamal_Ameli, a resident of Tehran, has been transferred to Evin Prison to serve his one-year sentence.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Mr. Ameli was detained after appearing at the first branch of the Evin Courthouse for the implementation of his sentence on Saturday, April 6th, 2023.
He had previously received a notification for the implementation of his imprisonment sentence.
Mr. Ameli was sentenced to one year of imprisonment by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari on charges of “conspiracy and collusion to commit crimes against domestic/foreign security” and “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran system” in February 2024.
